Wars vs Hunts

As title suggests seems to be wars on every single night , I enjoy wars and the benefits that come with winning the castles ect , however it’s hard to find a balance especially with the players that log in at 7:30 pm every night after work and only have 3/4 hours game time . A lot of players are becoming frustrated as they can’t get a decent GH atall atm . Suggestion : why not make 3/4 nights a week with all the walls up for grabs . Instead of5/6 nights of only a few walls . It would make the war nights bigger . And free up some days for everyone to sort out some guild hunts . Especially with the arena and revamped RDD/BDP ? Thoughts ?
 
Aye I agree. Wars every night is too much. Especially when they get extended etc.

Personally I'd be happy with wars limited to 2 or 3 nights a week. Doesn't matter what nights but as soon as 2 or 3 nights are scheduled, would be nice if all other wars had to then be on same nights
 
That could be really great tbh!

Some Sunday evenings you have SW from 6pm - 8pm (of which often the first 1hr is busy, then 2nd is dead but you have to stay for points), then additional wall from 8pm - 9pm with potentially 20 extra mins for extensions.

3hrs+ of walls on a Sunday is rough!

Yh totally agree , SW should just be an hour the second hour just seems to be a waste . Or change the point system so the guild with the least points get knocked out if they fall too far behind or something . Pretty sure there has been a similar post about SW before .
 
Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday - Sunday

Could should work, at least that would leave Friday free for all guilds to do hunts when most of there members are on !

If Andy agrees we could do a poll ??
 
Totally agree. With the addition of RDD/BDP and tournament. There's simply not enough time for war everyday or every 2 days.

And on non-war nights everyone is trying to get in same few places.

RDD etc was always one guild but I feel the arena should be available for a few guilds at a time just like Christmas grottos etc

I shouldn’t see that being a massive issue as guilds can only go in there once a week , could be an issue at the moment if there is only 1 or 2 non war nights per week tho .

Yeah u get 1 attempt. Spend ages finding a time to suit guild. Everyone logs on and it's engaged. Yup u can go somewhere else but ur all naked with equipment on alt accounts and might not get as many people later in the week.

Just seams simple and fair if 3 or 4 guilds can do at same time. Peek times are always going to be busiest so you'd like to be able to do ur weekly challenge when server is busiest
 
This has been the trouble for a while, there is absolutely no benefit from obtaining a wall if guild members are purely online trying to keep the wall rather than using the benefits it brings. If you can't hunt properly as well as war (if that's what you members want to do) then your not going to progress your members or kit so will stagnate and lose players through boredom.

With BDP/RDD/Arena/Orcs/PB/TP there are more places to hunt than there are active guilds able to hunt them if people were flexible with where they go, it just needs numbers online to do so. Arena is slightly different as can only use it once but if you can't get enough members on more than once a week then there is a problem in itself.
 
Shud look at what characters donate the most. From what I see it’s mostly non donators who love a war. The ones who like a spend up are mostly pve players �� :)
 
Suppose on the flip side if the bigger guilds are doing all the RDD/BDP/ arena etc then keeping a wall is choice for guilds and could let the smaller guilds perhaps take a wall rather than any one guild having them all. Kinda like can not have your cake and eat it!!
 
1 castle per guild max would sort this issue. As for the benfits they where good before but now 10 mill a day is peanuts. That side of thing needs looking at considering sheilds for a level 40 guild are in excess of 100 mill gold per sheild for 7 days.

Trouble there is not enough active guilds with a decent level of [players that you would castles literally be given to some... A cap of maybe 2 might work

There are more than 6 active guilds. If each castle had different benefits then it would make it more interesting for the stronger guilds to fight for the one that they thought had better benefits.

Maybe we'll see you at wars once you build up a full bound-item kit. It'll be a shame as you do drop very well.
 
That’s a completely different topic all together . Honestly don’t think that an ideal solution . That would completely take the fun out of war . Each guild would just turn up and claim a wall and then there will be 0 war? The smaller guilds get a chance to get WW I know both of the big guilds help out the smaller guilds to get a wall.

I believe the wars can be crammed into 4 days . For example monday/Weds/Fri and Sunday .Not only would it make the wars more fun would allow guilds to plan around it and get the numbers of for wars to give it their best shot. it would also free up 3 days per week for guilds to do arena / BDP/RDD or wherever . . Think it’s a win win . That would benefit everyone and make overall game experience more enjoyable.

Would be much easier for all guildsd to rally the troops if they were scheduled days (and a limited amount of days). Would also give more benefit to winning a wall (e.g. you'd hold it presumably for a bit longer before fighting again).

Win or lose, walls are fun when there's competition :)

Agreed 100 percent couldn’t have put it any better , would be interesting to know what scorps/warda views on this would be . ;p
