Long term plan to phase them out is already in place. Ely orbs can only be added to items between level 180-210 so in the future when there's kit higher than 210 it won't be possible to Ely orb those things, and people will gradually move on to higher kit without Ely orbs

Guess ill be back in around 5-10 years then, if i haven't died of natural causes.

I mean scorpian has already told you about the situation regarding the implementation of screen resolution, no need to keep going on about it either play as it is or dont and wait to see if anything changes in future.

Yes and his reply was that its possible just requires a large amount of work. so its possible, and would bring more users to the game, how is this a bad thing?

Didnt say it was a bad thing, just pointless to waste your time asking for something that isnt going to happen, or atleast that highly unlikely isnt going to happen….

I do agree however something should be done to bring in new players, i just think with so many other games out there these days and this game being one that a select few in the grand scheme of things have a nostalgia over, the game itself doesnt coincide well with people who genuinely have limited time to game, unfortunately that just the way it is.

I quite litterly know 20 odd ppl that dont play this server purely down to the resolution being limited to the size it is.
The mir community is rather small so idk why u wouldnt wanna try keep it together with changes to better player experience.

Windowed mode ftw! Many have a second low resolution monitor just for arcadia, and that is the sort of spirit it takes to actively play this version of mir, you've been far too spoiled with all the pump and dumb crystal servers and it shows

Yea thats how i play now, change my monitors res to 1152 x 864 and play windowed mode - Dont like 1024 x 768 the slightly higher feels abit better. Then just have the 2nd monitor normal to watch shows and what not on.

I quite litterly know 20 odd ppl that dont play this server purely down to the resolution being limited to the size it is.
The mir community is rather small so idk why u wouldnt wanna try keep it together with changes to better player experience.

Guarantee at least half of those people would find another excuse if the resolution was increased, even just enough to fill in the black bars.. it is what it is.

Why would they not play simply down to resolution? What benefits does it have you play in the resolution your requesting?

Because as times gone on so has progression of resolution, people are more accustomed to better resolution then in the previous days when that’s all was offered so it’s just simply going back in time to them, I do get it for sure and it’s one of things I dislike but I enjoy the server so kind of don’t pay attention to it.

But I agree a change like that would bring more players imho Scorp is known for longevity on servers so that’s another plus side, all the servers now do cater for the resolution as using newer files but the only diff they only last few months and are super heavy on p2w aspects.

As the game is now there has been many updates since I last played and caters a lot more to the F2P players which is a great addition.

Maybe increasing the red size is a bit of a chore but need to look at long term, would it bring more new players, answer is yes.
Would it increase PvP in the game due to that improvement to files - yes

Downside to higher res, you can see more on the screen - not a big deal because it doesn’t allow you to hit further it just shows you on screen further

Hey im all about getting more people to play, im sat waiting patiently for wars to re surface, unfortunately this server everyone is scared so all bundle to one side for safety, unless you get a whole bunch of people that know nobody on this server im pretty sure those who join will just bundle up with the strongest guilds / alliances in game thus furthermore making it a pve server.
