I think what the vast majority of people would agree on, is wizz needs work.
as much as some people don't want to let them go, getting rid of op pets is stage one (solves the stealing issue,)
stage two is balancing with new buffed spells to re add the attraction to the class, multi strike and thunder storm get my vote, make Lightning damage great again.
I will add, to all the wizzies out there complaining, how many of you have made a kit with light damage runes and tested it out? 75% I’m talking here, do it! You will be amazed!
I agree with you, infact I bought up that exact argument earlier in this post regards the inbalance in rankings & I have also abandoned my wizz.
However you are here less than a year, this server is 12 years old, in 12 years wizz levelled silly fast by those who knew how to play them compared to war/tao. That dynamic seems to have changed in the past 18/24months to mean only wizz who spend exorbitant money or play 24/7 have that advantage past lvl 190ish.
I myself didnt get bdp pets until i returned here 4months ago, I levelled without pets right up to szt/bc, but after these caves its just not happening pets are required, I gave it a good go 3 months trying, my dislike of pets is deeply routed & well documented, i hate that i cannot afk, i hate how they die so easy I despise retameing and the anxiety of theft, if I go afk because i get company knock at the door and forget about this game, as you do when i come back pets are dead, fuck that, but most of all I hate that playing the class is completly reliant on electricshock a fkin lvl 13 spell....
While I agree to all of this, my gripe is this.
It not just single target damage that would need buffed for wiz, their hp would need to be doubled minimum.
Damage isn't the problem in my opinion, it's survivability.
Yes hp runes fix that, but the lack of drops on hp runes hinders the class so badly most wizzies quit playing. On top of that we have to choose between hp or mc. No other class needs to make that choice.
