Extermination Meter is that working ???

Not sure how this meter is meant to work so im asking for a little insight as seems to have little effect

I been grinding hard last 2 weeks in Naga GP cave the bar is constantly full or at the triple Gems stage while luring next load of mobs on AVG before the bar was added I was getting 8/10 items nothing mythic and some gems and tbh nothing changed.

Over the last 2 weeks I have had about 140 items I rounded up to max daily drop NONE of them mythic, gems if any thing have dropped the same

My Question is WTF
also is the drop rate it says on the bar add to you Charr stats as my normal drop rate is 120% but does not change as the Extermination bar goes up normally full at 110% so should that not double my Charr Drop rate as that bar is is not changing my Charr drop rate and its me thats killing the mobs ???

if you need more details ask away just thought i would get a better understanding and im getting annoyed when even 1/140 items is not a mythic

I've found that the bar doesn't bear much relation to what drops except, I'll occasionally get 3 gems drop when the meter is at maximum. Haven't had a mythic item drop in weeks and even with the bar at maximum normal item drops are sparse.

You have out levelled the cave I would guess. There’s a mechanic set up to stop high lvls farming lower lvl stuff.

Just a guess but Andy will be able to say if I’m in the right neck of the woods or just been snorting too Much fairy dust

It definitely works. I just killed 10 RuneGoblins (the Xmas event ones) both with and without max buff and got 3 vs 12 Ultra Marbles drop

There is nothing (anymore) reducing the drops of gems when you are a higher level than the mob - that was replaced with this system of giving more gems in areas where you can gain a kill chain

The buff doesn't appear on your stats window because it only affects mobs not bosses and so would be deceptive
