Blurry writing and poor resolution.

Hey guys,

I haven't tried/played this server in many many years. Just logged onto my old account, but the resolution feels small/squashed and the writing is absolutely awful I ca barely read it.

I've tried to change the font and game resolution inside the Mir2 config file but it made no changes to the game. I also changed my desktop resolution, aspec ratio and scaling to no avail.

I only managed to grab a screenshot via windowed mode as your client does not allow me to use my screenshot/screen snippy function inside your client.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

There is a link scorp sent it's like MS serif Microsoft download . I've had to do it on one of my laptops . It's quite an easy fix . It's on the forums somewhere from a few years ago
 
On a side note, while ingame (in any mode) just press the Pause|Break button on your keyboard and a screenshot will be saved in your images folder

Did this suddenly happen or new computer? Did it happen after upgrade or re-install Windows? Anything?

Not sure if this is any use, seems old and don't mess with registry if you don't know what you are doing!

For the record, in the main windows settings window, looking for fonts, there is no MS Sans Serif installed for me either (although it is installed). Pretty sure "Microsoft Sans Serif" is different.


You can possibly find some guidance online to reset default Windows Settings for fonts?
 
I had the same thing in my old laptop . It's really irritating .

There is a thread somewhere where scorpian sent a link your windows is missing the MS sans serif font . If you can find that link to the previous thread and download it . It will work . Tried and tested
