Given the recent attention directed toward Arena this week, we believe it is important to highlight a significant flaw within the arena system—one we have encountered on multiple occasions but have, until now, chosen not to raise publicly.
Our guild has consistently held the wall, with challengers unable to defeat us outright.
This week, we have strategically resulted in a draw however, despite remaining undefeated, we still lose ownership of the wall simply because the opposing guild’s name appears first alphabetically.
When reviewing other walls, it appears that only an outright victory determines the result, making this rule inconsistent and, ultimately, unfair.
If the wheels are In motion for this feature to be reviewed as of the recent posts about it then we respectfully urge the developers to review this mechanic also.
A system that allows guilds to lose despite not being defeated undermines both fair play and competitive integrity. Ensuring that outcomes are decided by performance—rather than arbitrary factors such as name order—would strengthen confidence in the arena and create a more balanced, merit-based experience for all participants.
The fact that PVE chooses not to fill seats to breaking point and can accommodate guests on such competitions is irrelevant.
If any 100% PVE guilds feel this is unfair we are more than happy to collab in future just get in touch
