With the warrior skill Entrapment, the petrification duration on targets is reduced to almost nothing. Archer-type classes become extremely hard to kill.
now they break free in one second
The Whirlwind skill has also had its duration greatly reduced. Previously, I tested it and it could last all the way until you left the map.

The Acheron Relic Fragment cannot be found in the Kill Quota Bounties mission.

3 Magic Avoid
Random attributes used to give up to +5 points, and overall could reach 20%+. Now they’re completely invisible. The four gems I carefully crafted for Everlast have been removed from the gear.

4 Not Updated Kill Quota Bounties system
It used to refresh every hour, now it only refreshes once a day. This isn’t an upgrade—it’s a downgrade.

All the regular gear that requires tons of materials to upgrade has really terrible stats. For example, the level 182 warrior armor’s HP regen was originally 10%. After spending a whole year collecting materials to upgrade it, all I got was another +10%, for a total of just 20%…

The game is getting less and less fun.


There’s no fun at all. I just played Shadow Zuma, and those archers are extremely hard to kill. The Entrapment skill used to petrify them for at least 5 seconds, but now they break free in one second, and I end up chasing them for a whole minute.

3. As you were told before Magic Avoid isn't functional in game it was removed years ago. It is an irritating stat that had no counter and other stats/functions have been added to perform the same function with a more natural effect

4. It is still 1 hour for the random bounty

5. Well it is always a balance isn't it, and this is how it was designed when it was added 4 years ago. The armour also gives 20 AC, 20 MAC, 1.5% Physical damage reduction and 1% Magic damage reduction

6. This content is 3-4 years old so shouldn't be affected too much by current events
 
Also please check the hero quest requirements. 3 small stones I was asked for today which is 9x XS fragments. Very very hard to collect them for a daily quest.
 
Magic Avoid is still getting added with essence and designs. Are you saying it isn’t functional and does nothing? Then can we have it removed so that it’s not possible that it would be added and therefore it would add another stat?

Yeah that would be nice to see. It's been many years now that it's done absolutely nothing as a stat, it's been removed from all calculations, so it's only there to confuse people now :)

First I heard of it doing nothing. I got a decent roll with magic avoid +4 too and though that’s awesome. But alas it’s the emperors new clothes.
 
I've been unable to pinpoint when it was actually removed, but I did find a post from 6 years ago from someone asking to get magic avoid added back into the game. It doesn't feel like that long ago but apparently it was!
 
It was basically agility vs wiz spells. With enough of it wizards would totally miss you. With warriors and agility that’s fine because the warrior can get more acc to counter it. Accuracy doesn’t work on wizard spells so eventually wizz just wouldn’t be able to hit anyone

Instead now they can zap you from far with multiple hits in succession at a high rate of damage, yay.
 
I used to have an added necky in euro mir. I cant remember what the stat was called but it used to miss spells. I think the necky had an extra 10% ontop of what it naturally had. I could run about and wiz couldn't hit me with tbolt or fireball. It was proper OP at time

The Acheron Relic Fragment is very difficult to get and definately should be available on the kill Quota, because like Timeturner has stated, the grind is not worth the reward simply because many event robes/weapons exist now that simply outclass upgraded standard items.

I’m going ask for you and others that feel this way to take the time to look at it on the other side.

Firstly I can agree with when there’s no 2x drop lunar cycle on things can be pretty stale. But that being said it’s also not impossible and can be quicker than you think.

For instance my best luck outside of lunar cycles was going there with a wizz even if you don’t have wizz to go with just simply ask in town I’m sure most wizzies wont say no to having a warrior luring cry for them or a tao healing them constantly.

Within lunar cycles soloing 4th floor defo is your best bet make that your home. Clear map and rinse and repeat.

Also the grind may not be worth it for the (armour). Be for weapons it is. they give added sa/pa/ma among other stats by the time your 198 you can have a weapon with 7+ pa/sa/ma and again plus other stats for warriors I want to it’s also Itd? Maybe someone can correct me if I’m wrong on that either way the stats give can be pretty op.

Also on another note if event weps/arm are better then these upgraded items there’s always an option of going for them instead of the grind of upgrading items.





My worry for this server is things will keep getting made easier and easier until there’s no real sense of achievement from it and people grow bored and cba to play any longer.

For instance I truly hope GMs makes zero changes to the new “super rare Arcadian items” and they continue to stay extremely rare I think GMs done a great job with that genuinely the fact it’s been out for a good few months now and no one has got a full kit many others may not agree and that’s fine but for me personally thats well deserved pat on the back for GMs make things grindy again.

If you want good kit you’re paying GG for it. If you want runes you’re paying GG in events.

It is a hard balance I get it. I wish there was something else for casuals.

I think a quest goes a way to helping that as a casual for me. Helping hero though is a waste of time. I had one yesterday where the mobs were too hard. Even with a clear there were supers and mobs that can see through - need to have a real hard look at those.

Helping Heroes are exactly for people like you and it took over a year in between other projects to develop the content. It is not perfect and the entrance tasks are too hard but there's improvements coming in that regard now we have some months of metrics.

I may have completely missed the mark here but..

Was that on your 183 warrior? The map with pigs and a 550% XP boost? I can't guarantee I had the same monsters but I just jumped in on 3 variations (same map, different spawns) on your character (test server with current stats) and had no difficulty whatsoever. I did notice half of your skills are not trained? You don't use entrapment or battlecharge? That particular map has spots where only 2 monsters can hit you, so with bloodlust you can basically go afk while hitting a mob. Use entrapment to pick of mobs and use dash to get in and out of situations.

One of our biggest difficulties is easing new players into a complex environment (which only gets more complex with a shorter in-road) but
I think at some point the player needs to be responsible for playing the game.

Yes it’s on my warrior, battle charge isn’t much use and largely irrelevant to have that lvl 3. And entrapment is pretty buggy in general on this server, they break free far too quickly. Diamond skin isn’t trained yet but that’s largely useless anyways.

I spawned in and there’s a red and a blue, then there’s an host of mobs that can see through the clear ring. Right away I’m under aggro.

I’m not a new player, I’ve played Mir since its release and understand the mechanics. Whilst you say there’s spots only 2 mobs can hit you, how can I find that with a tonne of mobs chasing me and the daft pigs ai that wander in to your frost frenzy.

I think you need to play it more to understand the troubles of a warrior. Especially in helping hero quests. I love the concepts and would absolutely do them. However right now they’re impossible. Difficult and impossible are two different concepts, I don’t mind difficult but I do mind impossible.

I’m sure you’re up for improving user experience. As you’ve spent so long on the quests and worked on them with a lot of effort surely you’d prefer we utilised them. Hugely disappointed in your last statement, basically suck it up - it’s your fault player.

I’m afraid if you played the game from 160 onwards as a warrior for any length of time then you’d understand how it is these days. Bloodlust? I think you must not see the reality of how inconsistent this spell is.

Impossible to get kit without paying GG and real money. Nobody wants to group for bosses which are largely always taken anyway and the drops as a solo player are not enough to help work towards that sort of next level kit.

I love the server and Mir, so don’t get that bit wrong. I’ve invested time and money and I’m hitting a wall. And I’m not alone in these helping hero quests.
