Resigning

I would like to say that I am resigning from this game.

Despite reaching level 144 in about 4 weeks and spending £100+ along the way my experience tonight has made me regret that decision to ever open the app again. To all who PK'd me? Why?

Thankyou to all of my guild friends who gave me the opportunity to perform tomy best and helped me more than you could imagine, it's with deep regret that i've been victimised for reasons i cannot understand at all.

Thanks for ruining what was a continuous enjoyable experience for me.

All the best in life to all (even the killers) SparkMan.

Hello,

Your resignation has not been accepted due to the fact PK is part of the game. We understand some people doesn’t like pvp or PK but unfortunately the game was designed this way. Bare in mind some players on same boat as you are still enjoys the game and keeps them selfs away from drama. Please reconsider your resignation and man up to those trying to put you down. Thank you

I agree with what you say 100% - but when people hunt you down and PK you for mistaken identity and/or continuously hunt kill you for reasons you don't understand that's the issue here, not the action itself. People mass murdering me for no reason. Yes I did go verbal with the 1st person who killed me, but I was perplexed - done nothing but try to be nice to all.

Also the term man up is antiquated - hard to man up when everyone higher level than you is killing you for no reason.

All I can suggest is it's a learning experience to avoid the places where the pk action happens, until you are ready and/or want to join in.

I dislike pk as much as it sounds you do, so I've taken to simply avoiding it when possible. It's unpleasant being a target, and you can believe me I'm a target, let's not get into that one heh.

There are plenty things you can do in the game to enjoy it, and indeed the event, without risking pk. The event caves for example, are free zones (pk is possible) but there are no player drops, so there's no risk other than a bit of wasted time, and it will only be people in a similar level range to you.

Unfortunately with snowbrook being open to all levels and being rather lucrative, you will find the best and the worst coming face to face there. There's plenty people out there who seem make it their goal to simply upset and annoy others. I had a chat with Meatball ingame too about this, and the person named is definitely one of them. If you feel there has been any form of bullying within the game, I'd recommend you follow the guidance GM has posted as a popup when you log.

They want you to quit, they want everyone to quit, so they can be "kings" of an otherwise empty server. Don't let them win by giving them the satisfaction. Continue your play and enjoy what you're doing, with a small adjustment of avoiding the areas where heated pk happens, and you'll have a much more satisfying time.

Hi Sparkman, dont give up.

I assume you didnt drop anything if in snowbrooke?

Honestly you can just go 140-160 cave without the need to waste time in snowbrooke searching for preezies.

Literally the only value I found from private cave is getting the mount to drop. Other than that, the 140-160 cave is better exp and drops.

vexuis advice is shit

zads is good

they were both good.

It's easy to feel victimised in this game in particular because the chat isn't moderated so people get to say what they want to you, and I think it's possibly the bit that winds players up the most. Don't give up, please. I think you're a valuable player - and person - and you could deal with this differently.

The first time someone is repeatedly hunted down and pk'ed is always a horrible experience but you have options. Like I said last night, start a noob and do something else, stop playing for the night and watch tv, hunt in junk gear for a bit and let them turn red, go do an easy farmer/giovanni quest...

people who pk thrive on it and probably hold on to their little willies while they are doing it. You can't filter out such people unfortunately, but they will themselves become a target simply by the way they are.

To anyone else reading I bet a lot of you remember resignation posts on euro mir. It's not flouncing it's an expression of frustration, of feeling personally attacked and unable to stop it from happening when going about your normal business. In this particular case it was something to do with mistaken identity after the initial confrontation over a santa and therefore other people becoming involved in the pking.

I'll be disappointed if you really quit, but obviously I can't stop you. Just take a break instead.

You'll always get arse holes in any game mate. That's what makes me more determined tbh. Most people leave me alone now cos they get an ass kicking . Don't give in, get in a guild that doesn't have issues with other guilds.

If you want to get into a 'big' guild that keeps mostly neutral and doesn't have too many pk problems you're probably best in Templar or TheLegends

PVP is part of the game, PKing is literally seen as negative play in the coding of the game and people who do it are punished. This justification is total BS. There is no need to kill people for no reason. People who do this are going out of their way to kill other peoples fun, which is pretty flipping sad.

Yea and so it becomes part of the game and how game is designed. The thing is you can kill or try and kill people if you can afford to face the consequences. It takes 2 hands to clap nothing happens for no reason.

It takes 2 hands to clap nothing happens for no reason.

I mean, you can look at that 2 ways. Either someone is playing an online game with the sole purpose of making someones experience shitty because they like bullying and harrassing people, or they really are doing it for no reason. There are plenty of actual, solid and perfectly justifiable reasons for why someone would PK another player and running around a map and trying to kill people of a lower level is not one of them.

There is no reward for PKing and nothing to gain in any way. People do it as they like the feeling of beating people who they know can't fight back.

I like to compare it to shopping centre car parks.

People who PK low levels for no gain are the same people who walk their trolley to the car, load their bags into the car then just leave their trolley where it sits in the middle of the road

Yes it doesn't really matter too much, but just be a good human and put it away in the right place, and be a good human and leave people alone when you have zero to gain by killing them and they have zero way to defend themselves. It's petty willy waving, nothing more

Sorry. I’ve asked my guild not to pk any low lvls during the event ingame and in whatsapp many times but a few of them don’t listen. I’m sorry that ya experience ended this way. I partly blame the event for being too small and tight. When I started 2 easters ago it was freaking awesome.

Some of your guilds are actually decent and up for a laugh (even during wars lmao), the rest are some of the worst people on the server. It's a shame.
