Really enjoying the xmas event, loving the small/medium/large present caves, would love to see something like this in the game all the time, rather than presents maybe a token to enter, keep the time limit as it gave me more incentive to beat my time. Great idea Scorpion and Warda.

a little disappointed I haven't been able to get a frost tiger arc, I've been grinding caves for days, rarely seeing a tiger spawn anywhere. everytime I saw "tiger" on the floor it was a mount.

Event cave is great as a group, mass lure and kill, visited the KR and damn it was hard.

My only negative is the lack of santa's, xmas trees and reindeer to drop presents and santa items.

Mate event makes the game exciting and if this was happening on daily basis it will get boring and all will quit. Also the tigers are available at very good rate you just need to all out and you will find one. People have waited 4 years every Xmas event.

If everyone could get a frost tiger then GM might as well just put them in gg shop and we can all sit in safe zone with our feet up comparing bank statements

It's a game of chance, some people get lucky others don't

We're only half way through the event, keep at it, if you don't get one then try again next xmas. I was lucky enough to get one last year, this year I've been grinding like a mofo and not seen a single one

Yer best event I ever played I think. Very cool. :)
My only gripe is Equipping Xmas gloves and hat when killing a boss or red mob. Opens u up to get killed as they have no defensive stats. Would be cool if they worked just being in ur bag. Or if they had some big defence stats.
 
yea enjoying the event after the little update to it ty scorp/warda waited 3 years my self for Tiger still no troll !! and lvl 162 to 174 think good effort from me.. now just need kit to catch up with me lol
 
I was starting to get a little bored after 2 years on this server without any significant breaks, so went to RotA for a bit and was loving it there. This event pulled me back to Arcadia and I've discovered my fondness for it all over again. Best event I've seen so far, good job everyone!
 
The event was fantastic, I mentioned the idea of implementing private special currency entry caves a few months back and tbf Scorp did hint that it was something he and Warda had been working towards so nice to see it and fingers crossed we'll see something similar in the next big patch (hopefully something like a culmination of all 3 sizes of grotto with a 2 hour time limit :D)

Full moon event falling right in the thick of it did seem to make it very easy for the higher bracket players to breach 170+, as I see on the rankings now, but at the end of the day that's just good motivation for the GMs to release the next lvl cap increase and new areas which are being worked on.

The only thing that frustrated me was that after sieges, people just left mobs cluttering up the place which made it less streamlined to get back to hunting presents again, so I just bought a load of gg and lived in large grottos - beans on toast for me for dinner until next payday XD
 
I must also thank you for this event, but I can't help but make a few observations in a constructive sense:
- santas and trees should have been kill with 1 hit, just like pets. A beginner is not able to pursue and kill in a timely manner. I tried with noob of 95 but I couldn't kill a satna or tree
- and still somehow related to the above problem, not only for the low lvls, but also for the high ones, it is not easy to hunt santas and treew with all that invasion. From my point of view, the invasion was a killer-event-mood. impossible to hunt among all those mobs. Especially for lower levels. I appreciate the invasion but it could be something like, 15 minutes in which they invaded the cities .... but to stay for days on the map a lot of mobi that gave 5k experience .... but that do damage .....
Otherwise, I appreciated the event, I said that the Halloween one can't be surpassed, but I'm in this event, after 7 years ... I have a tiger and a troll.
I am satisfied

Thanks all. Really glad you enjoyed it.

Regarding the Sieges, the whole point is to throw a spanner in the works. Yes they get in the way of the main event but they are still very rewarding and enjoyable
 
I didn't get a tiger arc yet every noob in the game has and yet some people have found 3 of them - i grinded for hours in multiple caves with different lvl chars, bought a few large presents and found a fair few, never came across a single tiger, yim or troll arc, i was using santa kit and a drop pot, felt i was getting the same stuff drop and at times hardly anything dropped - the brute was impossible to kill as a low level char as all the other mobs would follow it, the grotto fighter was the single most annoying mob in the whole event, his range was ridiculous and damage was unreal. i lost my boots when i equipped the santa boots, nowhere to be seen again, seems the game favours those who have hundreds of pounds/dollars etc to waste on overpriced gg - we are in a pandemic and money is tight for some people, would be nice to see some special offers on gg once in a while.

Don't think I used any GG at all in the entire event, and no I don't have super expensive items neither. I was racking up multiple presents by the hour, I ended the event with pockets full of nice runes and drops. The fighters were horrendous, can't argue with that but the brutes you kind of have to take it with a pinch of salt, they are sub bosses after all. These 'disappearing boots', did you try reload your bag? Did you swap them out with a full bag and maybe they ended up under the belt slot items? Did you report it to scorp after all else fails? I don't get why that has anything to do with buying GG though? As for the pets, I know some people who haven't had one after a few years of trying. I managed to get a Wolf pet towards the last couple days of the event and it wasn't from a present, then a player I ran past on the second day I saw killing a troll that dropped him the pet in the main grotto. Seems you just got unlucky with the pet, but don't let it piss you off, they are really rare. Few in my guild been trying for a while and haven't had any of the event ones.

I have to disagree about the game being catered to people with money to spend, there's a lot in the gameshop that gives you an edge but definitely doesn't make it necessary to have them. Items that dropped in the game being sold by players for dumb prices is just that, a player driven market. Take your frustration out on them, it isn't the gms fault, they don't sell the items lol.
