Xmas event feedback

Il be honest, im kind of dissapointed with this event, this isn't a rant, just expressing my opinion about it.

I loved the spider event and the halloween event, in spider hunting for silk, craft it, hoarding the silk, craft it to bigger ones, to then do the caves. and in halloween the same thing, hunting for a spectre ( but they were so annoying, burning all ur mana everytime ) but would drop u for sure a shard and u could craft the lower ones in to big ones plus in halloween you could craft cool stuff like pots and candles.

But in this event.. i find myself logging in for the event but then i give up after some mins.. because of a few reasons.

- Snowbrook siege, i have absolutely 0 interest in this, and as far i can tell, more than half the server population also feels annoyed by this and me and those people can't just enjoy the event because the caves get locked until this is done, and the siege lasts a loooong timeeee....
- The presents to access the private cave.. they are scattered around snowbrook, which is just one map and theres also 20+ people looking for it all the time, making it a chore to just tping all the time around to try find one.. which isn't fun.. u just teleporting around all the time and thats it..
- The hunting caves which you access the one your lvl lets you in.. you can't find presents there.. i dont have that feeling like the other 2 caves where i could hunt mobs and get some xp and also find the special mobs which would drop you the stuff that would allow you to access the private cave.. in this event, there isn't that.. i dont have that feel in trying to find the special mobs while im also killing some normal mobs on the cave. It would be really nice to find some there, but could be harder to find one to balance it so people just dont find presents all the time of course, just a simple spawning and time to spawn it number fix.
- Nothing special to craft (as far i checked so far) no candles, no pots, nothing..

you could build a snowman and make fireworks for rewards. Also there was a 25th december present from Krissy in snowbrook which was very nice.

I would like to say that I would have enjoyed the under 140 siege if the invasion monsters had provided cave monster experience. Snowbrook pass normal monsters give around 1k exp with all the buffs on, and so did the invasion monsters. Inside the ordinary cave I was getting about 75k per normal monsters.

I am aware the cave is for between level 120-140 for me, and snowbrook pass was for 140 and under, but still there wasn't an incentive to do the invasion. Might have been if the exp was closer to about 5k per monster.

I enjoyed the event, including the invasions to a point as I was not subjected to PK, and that seems to be what ruined it for a lot of people this time around.

I think Scorpian has done a bloody good job and listened to player feedback and made changes in a timely manner, which is more than you get from plenty of other online games. I'm pleased to still be enjoying myself a month or so in as I really didn't expect to after years of content starved euro mir.

TBh honest, my noob is 115 and I tried going into the noob cave, but it was just not worth my time. I get massively better xp by just going to Savage wooma temple.

The noob snowbrook map is pointless, especially during the siege it's way too hard and outside of seige the mob take a minute each to kill for really crap xp. This is the second event in a row where I have tried to lvl my noob character up but found it totally pointless as it was either too hard or the xp was crap.

I dont really understand why the mob in the high-level caves are so easy to kill while the ones on the noob caves are so much (relatively) harder. Shouldn't they be killed by noobs as easy as mobs in high lvl caves are? (the 140-160 cave is so easy its boring, and i am only 150)

No one understands why the gm does what he does. 90% of the time it don’t fit. Content ALWAYS hurts to much and NEVER drops enough to cover ur costs. Dunno why he does it. Makes everyone sour.

Just the simple fact the server get regular updates and has a fair and activeish gm is ENOUGH to keep us here. Don’t need to treat us mean to keep us keen. We love the game.
