wiz's spells don't go off but go in cool down.

ok. so this is really annoying. and I don't know if anybody else is having this issue. It seems my wiz's spells don't go off when tanking loads of mobs but go in cool-down. like 9 out of 10 times, that got me killed in arcadia gp cave. And other time being the lag. You know when you place you frozen ground and inferno and rdy to blow up them stupid mobs, and you see your hp draining, but you are like " no problem, bloodstorm got my back" pressed the button, oh nice, nothing happened. but it ran in cool-down, and toads and slows make you unable to move or retreat lul, and that's a instant death. i've noticed, most of the aoe spell that dont require a target like COP, bloodstorm, lightingstorm, can all have this issue. Pls, fix this if it's a bug. it's really frustrating when the entrance fee increased and being a wiz, it's horrible to gain points as most 150+ bosses have million ish hp, and you'd be really lucky to find some blues and champs in arcadia. idk, as you lvl higher, it makes you wanna stop playing as a wiz.
PS, being an average but pro type player, i got 1k hp runes in build. so i can only imagine, how much harder for other wiz's that have no hp in build at all, when it comes to solo in arcadia. i bet a red toad can rape them well, cuz the way bloodstorm heals is interesting. when you only have one target it heals like 200-1k+, very randomely, but most of the times, very low. And i can see why ppl are complaing about toad's damage, blue toad can hit me 1k+, on my 68% pdr wiz, and champ toad can hit 1.5k+, for a regular 150 + wiz without hp runes in build, champ toad can fuck them with two hits and they cannot run the toad off, lol, only thing they can do is to tt or rt. i agreed with the guy how complained about arcadia gp cave. My war wouldnt like to lvl there, cuz of the blue flower's slow, and when you have a big lure, it's really hard to click on the closest mobs, cuz redglobster can easily block your cursor, there are many ways this map can make you tilted and digusted. if you are a skilled player, you can still solo there, but it takes a lot more energy. and compared to city gp, as i can see it's a lot harder to solo there. when i say solo,i mean literally you kill everything for exp, not that you lr regular mobs away and only grab the blues and champs, yes you can do that, but i wouldnt call that lvling, that just defeats the purpose.

This has already been discussed here and here and it's very clear from GM that it is intentional behaviour and absolutely not a bug.

The way to work around it is to increase your agility so that mobs hit you less, and to adjust your play style and order of spell casting to suit the situation. It comes with practice. I was as frustrated as you at first, but since I accepted it is part of the game I've spent a lot of time making subtle alterations to my kit and style and find it perfectly manageable now. Stick at it, takes a lot of practice but it is very do-able and I barely notice it now
 
im currently leveling in paradise gp as a 151 wiz with no hp runes...yes the toads are overtuned to hell but im not having problems with things not working because i only use COP when things are slowed and low hp.

Cant wait for bloodstorm though >.< 1 bad respawn and im screwed sometimes
