Wiz translocation over walls

Wiz are jumping walls In event em cave. They can cut out 70% of the run. I think it needs disabling.

Translocation is required for any wizard who is lower level than the mobs in there though. Its 160+ cave and some mobs are mid 170s, so when we get mobbed in it provides a great escape route. There are so many pinch points on that map it is very easy to get stuck and without Translocation then that would be the end of a wizzies hunt.

Surely there's another way than disabling a very important skill? Change the map or block a certain coordinate(s) so players cannot stand there.

You wouldn't disable a tao healing spells on a map just because pots don't drop. I think there is something to be fixed here but the answer shouldn't be removing something from a wizards tool box.

That's a really bad argument to make. It's kinda similar but not in the same realm of reality. Currently it's more like naga lanes. Everyone else has to follow the shit paths but wiz can just lol over walls.

It doesn't suit your narrative that's why you say it's a bad example.

My argument is that it is a survivability spell like healing, or bc as Dean said above.

It’s a spell which makes a wizard...you can’t take that away..... it takes wiz 1 silly
Mistake to die and ruin the hunt.
 
I'm fine with that honestly.

Always seemed a little strange to me. Loads of maps are anti trans! Maps like 7th, I never understood, couldn't actually see any benefit or jump walls spots for it to be disabled. It's mostly an escape spell.

Can't trans in tavern either.

Stop being so anti trans scorp!
 
If you disable a spell that a Wizzy has payed for and leveled up just because they can jump some walls to have a quicker run then things like Battle Charge for Warriors would fall into the same has it let them charge through the mobs and move on same with Taoist and Terror make the mobs run away so they can move on. Wizzy have trans so they can jump passed the mobs to a clear area then move away or TT if room is too full.
 
2/5 Translocations doesnt work for me.. specially when its panic time and the mouse keep moving.. other than that its a spell designed to move to where your mouse is pointing.. @darkstyle now don't be jealous over different class spell's cause u think they have an advantage that doesn't suit you..no one is stopping you from making a wiz char.. u can enjoy the spell and its advantages as much as everyone else whos got a wizard.. I'm actually surprised you haven't done it yet.. 2-3 years ago when i got to your stage i just started focusing more on a different class.. even tho i hated at first but i had no choice in order to compete and carry on and enjoy the game i had too.

tbh i love the translocation if i didnt have this skill i would be dead allmost 80% of the times while playing lureing killing and getting out of them sticky spots when haveing 50hp telling me this translocation should be turned off is saying to me wizzy have to die all the time or play by killing 1 mob at a time due to the fact we cant get out of the sticky spots why give us a skill let get used to it and people say it is unfair ......... translocation is great in pvp just for getting away ........ why should a warroir have battle charge to get out of lures when allmost dieing or in a pvp fight to stun and stop a player to hit them for the win .... 1 war 2hits on wizzy or tao there dead but now wizzy is not to use a translocation How can u say this is fair

there seems to be wide miss understanding about the purpose of this post. No one cares about trans on a map as a skill, its the fact u can skip a 10 min run with it. The pinch points where u can skip the walls just need to be adjusted for next year i say. Disabling the entire skill isnt rly fair imo

is it really that big a deal? If 10 wiz get to kr and immediately start killing the boss 10mins before one single war that war would still be able to kill the sub en route pk the wizz and kill the boss before the wiz could say "darkstyle quit being a fucking diva"

Meanwhile the Taos stuck at gatekeeper regretting his choice of class lol
 
No event is going to be 100% tbh just leave as it all is, there will be times warrs have advantage and others taos, its just part of the game and as players we should be trying to enjoy events and the game as it is, if we start moaning at slight advantages any class has on everything this game looses the fun element.

There have been many posts on this forum over the last year about warrs having advantages, then taos, then wizz... it is what it is.
