cant start mir because this file on it is this part of the game files or not didnt come up before wen playing

Go to vairus and threats, detect that bladebind scan it and then allow it to run on device.

I had same issue and just fixed it

I had the same problem, Mir won't run because of it. I don't trust it.

From google:
"BLADABINDI is a backdoor threat, designed to inject systems with malicious payloads. I.e., following successful infiltration, it stealthily downloads/installs malware onto affected systems. At the time of research, BLADABINDI has been observed being proliferated by and bundled with Windscribe VPN installers."

Now what? I won't be allowing the file.

Yes same happening here, been reading about it.
Seems a threat, I won't be allowing it.

Scorp been injecting our PC's with these? Assuming it's his client.

It’s not a threat simply part of new patch. Also I don’t use gaming pc for personal and financial reasons. And if anything happens to my account I will be knocking at Andy’s door.

In all honesty if my PC flags up a virus from a known source I would question it anyway, it’s better to ask than regret it latter …..

It's not a threat. Go to virustotal and scan the file in question. Every single major av says it's clean except for 3 shitty avs seeing it as a false positive.

its just a false positive from 5 crappy av's that are flagging it because of the compiler used to make the .exe

Also, mir being flagged as trojans, has been a thing since mirs been a thing. Even back on dragon and phoenix servers of euro mir.

In last 3 years not ever had a flag until this weekend , I come to the conclusion that 3 of my pcs don’t see it as threat it’s only my windows defender machine that has flipped out on it , never done this before on closer investigation I see that the Windows Defender also was updated on Friday so I think case of both worlds colliding.
Still like to confirm this via official source seeing as only last week we had outages on the run gate due to antivirus issues ….

Oh I agree 100% and as soon as it popped for me I quarantined it and threw it straight at multiple virus vendors. But you can kinda tell when it's a false positive when you use virustotal to scan something because all the major avs find nothing and only q few no named ones flag it.

Unfortunately, AV companies have the tendency to make things up, which of course causes needless confusion. This appears to be one of those occasions and it now appears to be resolved and the file is now unmarked.

We should all come together and thank Windows for randomly deleting things from our computers while simultaneously force installing Microsoft software on us.
