Why has guild point kills / boss kills been removed from guild chat?

Guild chat as it used to be (displaying kills) or not

It was removed because a lot of people in busy guilds complained during events it was impossible to see actual chat because it guild points were spamming. I think GM listened and tried to fix it but took it too far, we also can't see what mobs were killed to gain the points.

I'd ideally have preferred to see it remain in chat but have a toggle button like the other types of chat, but I'm not fully sure on that. It might prove beneficial if we get used to it as it is, I think after next event we will be in a better position to discuss it

I would agree with you wholeheartedly, it should at least display the mob in the top left if it remains out of the main chat. Toggle button would 100% be the best option IMO. Not seeing the mentioned things just removes topics of discussion with guildies on slow days. I miss it.

guild chat gbp spamming is a seasonal problem only prevalent during events, an on off button like guildchat privatechat etc would have been ideal.

GM put this fix in which will be a good addition during events, but kinda crappy the rest of the year, on off button would be best.

I think it is better, and cleaner this way . Why do you need to see what mobs or bosses people are killing?

This way is a lot less stalkable and actually promotes typing in chat rather than it being spammed with useless guild build point information.

I put a suggestion in the other section of this forum, about making online status visible on the guild members' list. The idea behind that was to see who is online and engage in a conversation, which is obviously what most people used the guild build point chat for.

Gbp chat helps smaller guilds see who's pulling their weight and who's just costing points every week. That being said a toggle switch would be best solution especially for busy guilds during events.

On the same row as the "toggle chats" on/off - At the far right of that row is a tab that reads "Social Window" and on that box click the Notifcations tab and that will show you, in text, all of the information that shows up in the top right. So the information is not lost.

I guess, if anything, having a filter within this menu would be good, so you could search for "guild build" and it would show up all of the points that people have accumulated.

IMO top corner is fine, however I agree it should display the mob you’ve killed too otherwise you could be going for a boss that a guild member has just killed lol

Either that or just change it during events then return to normal afterwards

You can still see, it's just not as obvious

If you can toggle this on then the whole thread is mute, I was not aware of this...

It doesn't display killed mobs/bosses right? Had a quick look. Just points. Old system argument still stands for me. Make Mir great again puts on red cap.

For a smaller guild this issue wasnt a problem but a large guild during even it was a nightmare to read chat. maybe the best way is it turn it on and off.

In our small guild its usefull to see what GPS have been done and whos killing what boss, so you dont turn up at the same time :D
