Don't complain. Those items aren't useless you can auction them on the market for something under 100gg and they will sell
(probably not now as theres a ton of them on the market and there is no demand but few months later some folks will buy them)
You can also salvage them and get some nice myth ess and possibly good quality ess/des high level too!
About 700 gg worth of the 30gg stones used and two mythic pieces I get are level 200 and 198.
Not one other useful item. A few 7 day subs. Which 700 gg could have damn near got a year supply of sub.
Yea I get the xp is nice but people do these caves in the hopes for items they can use.

Well i've spent almost 7k worth of 30gg stones you must know that they're mainly there for levelling if you want decent drops go bossing

GG caves are like buying a lottery ticket, you know there are good prizes and you buy a cave stone for that reason , like all gambling it comes with its dangers ….. that is you never win
Saying that luck really does play a factor I thought I try a gg cave on my noob 145 warrior 1st cave killed gift rat dropped Elysian Helm ……
Thus event Scorps has really improved the type of item however there are still those annoying lvl 180 below quest items in theee so buyer beware , if you want items go hunt bosses in the maze etc if want chance of GG shop gear and a rare chance of a Elysian item gamble away ….
Choice is yours no one makes you click the 30 gg buy button …..

I understand that it’s gambling, and you are correct no one forces you to buy the 30 GG stones, but you spend money on GG to support the server. You do the 30gg caves in the hopes that you get items that are useful.
I’ve had better items, GG items and otherwise, out of the standard cave, and didn’t have to spend any GG on that at all.
So the question is, why spend money on GG to support the server if you get absolutely nothing in return but ultra marbles, chipped stones, and useless items?
There’s absolutely no incentive to do so.
This is a give get relationship. But when all you do is give all the time and get nothing in return, it wears ya thin real quick.

I think you've maybe missed the point a little. If you want to be guaranteed a certain item that's useful to you, then people who do hundreds of the caves would get tons of those items and the market would be flooded, then we're back in a circle where those people get items with no value
Plenty people are happy with the 30gg caves, you can't say they are bad just because you got unlucky with the drops
I fully understand how a games economy works bud. That’s not the point I’m trying to make.
This event has been great for XP, and I wont deny that, but xp is the ONLY constant in this server. You can get XP any time you want.
Drops on the other hand are trash. There are multiple threads on it. Look at the runes thread for instance.
So to quote gritt from another thread. This event is make or break for a lot of people, and he’s not wrong.
People are throwing money at the 30gg caves in the hopes of getting items they can use or trade for gear they can use. So far across the entire event, the only usable 3 items I have gotten in 9 levels, from 175 to 184, have been given to me, or bought off the ah.
Outside of those 3 items, I have gotten a little over a half dozen XS runes/crystals. That’s what almost 1200gg got me.
If that seems normal to you, awesome, but to a lot of other people, its infuriating. Because after this event ends, its back to business the normal way. Grinding shit tons of XS crystals and runes, tediously.
And I just can’t seem to see the point in it tbh.
