Hi all,
just wanted to post and say sorry for being a little quiet lately. And no proper reboot!

The ongoing skill review is a massive effort and even the consideration to remove a skill from game is taking a long time.. you can imagine with something like 120 skills in game, if we are lucky to manage each one in an hour that's 120 hours work. We are also looking to add around 3/4 new skills for each class up to level 184.

On top of that we are looking to get Ancient items in game (which have changed somewhat since the original conception) - this is not a item set, it is a rare mythic item upgrade containing a special socket for unique upgrades.

Plus, content, more content.

Some spells I think would be good
Ying yang blast for tao single attack hp steal
Hiding for tao
Healing field for tao

Mass t bolt for wiz


War new ethereal blades bigger hit area using dark/lightning or dark/fire
Chm range extension

I would like it but for warriors it does zero. We have spells that say they use holy Dmg like beserk, damage field and protection field. When I use holy dmg items it does zero to them spells. Doesn’t extend the duration and doesn’t add any extra stats so I don’t know what the purpose of it is on a warrior. I’d love some way to prevent getting the upgrades we don’t want and a way to influence getting the stats we want instead of it being totally random.

Also I think the biggest improvement that could be made would be to remove the cool down taos get when they equip a life stone. Taos should be able to use resurrection as soon as they equip the stone. The cool down should only begin AFTER the first resurrection was successful. In my opinion.

Remove all quest items aswell. It not fun that a adult with family and job have 0 chance to get those items. All items in game should be able to get for everyone. One way or the other.

Disagree. There should be things obtainable by people grinding for it!
I assume you mean the gem chip quests and similar. I too probably will never complete these but absolutely support the concept for people willing to put the graft in able to get something just people out-right donating can't.

The reason I have stopped playing is because I feel taos have fallen off a cliff compared to other classes. We don't do anything particularly well.

We have buffs and heal and that's not enough, I don't want to depend on group hunting to level or leeching off wizs or only leveling during events. Why do bosses on a tao it you can use a war or a wizz with 5 hulks.

Hope this changes, we need some mass slow spell, holy freeze is ok but its random and doesn't last very long, also in certain situations can be more inconvenient to use than to not activate it at all.

1 Sounds good, not sure it needs to be a HP steal but more tao attacks is required, preferably ranged mass hitting ones
2 Exists, named Mass Hiding - (and works, just tested)
3 Exists, named Mass Healing - or Redemption for health recovery (unsure what you mean tbh)
4 Exists, named Lightning Storm - (and works, always use it)
5 & 6 I feel like you are requesting mass hitting dark spells because you have stacked that stat, in the past people have asked for DarkFrenzy and been told that it wont happen. EtherealBlades would be nice if Slow was added to it though, since it is an ice spell.

8 Here is where you show your youth around here. Revive spell used to be able to cast instantly upon death, and as many times over and over, this 20 second delay was introduced to give people chance to revive in town, or you had to re-log back then if I'm not mistaken. People were dying and being revived really quickly and then dying again and dropping more stuff in a grief style of play. It has been fine since the day it was changed.

Yeah, I said at the time when Arena was removed taos were screwed because level 7 pets where needed for leveling. Now tao leveling is spamming toxic gas and 1k swords. It's boring, slow and tedious. Impossible no but not for me thanks give me devil's vision and level 7 pets again like when I was level 130 in mines.
 
Any chance at looking at the xp the farmer quests give? I would defo go back and do them if the time vs xp was much better, give u a break from mindless grinding

Insane that you legit dont understand what Darkstyle want to say with his new skills, he dont mean turn the enemy 10 sec in Stone,he mean turn himself into a stone that he can reg HP while in fight without getting hit (7)

(2) he dont mean clear ring effect,he mean that the enemy is invis and not targetable not even possible to see him on map ofc,he isnt allowed to attack then,would give taos a better chance for positioning to hit from far behind

(3) a field where is a "aura" that heals you,without a tao need to cast the spell everyone second

If we all about making our classes op, I'd like to request "decoy" a wiz spell that when your HP hits 20% summons 10 clones which run in different directions.

I'd like "devastation" , a spell allowing wiz to summon a meteor which when it lands causes a knock up and stun lasting 4 secs.

Then finally I'd like a fear spell, allowing me to cast it on a warrior similar to terror, forcing them to walk around with 0 control as that's the only hope we have of getting a kill.

How about some ideas that you’d like to see. Gm might like ur ideas and implement them. Don’t ask and discuss then we won’t get. The idea of discussing these ideas is so that everybody can get an idea of how everyone else feels about new ideas. Some people will highlight the cons some will highlight the pros. That’s why we have a discussion forum. Not a let’s slag each other off forum because we don’t like others opinions

I don't know man, they seem a little op apart from maybe healing aura.. it sounds like the druid's tranquility from WoW, but again I must say with mass healing already having a tick and able to be spammed it would have to offer something different wouldn't it.

Stoneform on a warrior sounds like a good shout too but instead of giving outright immunity it could increase ac/amc for 90sec and decrease dc and accuracy for 120sec or something , with no hp regen --- edit: just realised protection field exists, maybe stoneform could increase all defences for 90sec, just a thought.

I really hope taos get some aoe attacks rather than more support spells. We have to swap spells on the fly as it is!
