That damn lion

Does it wander randomly away or is it a set path or? I've been searching for a looong time now. Got the hen etc, everything but the lion for stray animals quest!

Found them all clumped together... but the lion is nowhere

It definitely spawns there. It's a fairly small area to cover but a rare spawn. Take a 2 minute run around, if not there go do something else and try again later is the only advice that can really be given. Good luck!
