Help Request Special Ring quest — Large Diamond

Special Ring quest — Large Diamond
I tested this on a fresh character with the Special Ring quest active before completing Illusion Sword.


Evil Guardian gave fragment 1, Evil Guardian gave fragment 2 and EvilIllusion gave the final fragment. I completed the quest and received the Illusion Sword, but EvilIllusion did not drop the Large Diamond.


EvilIllusion appears to be a one-time spawn and cannot be repeated after completing the quest. The other Cave of Evil doorway also remains inaccessible.


How is the Large Diamond for the Special Ring quest obtained on the current server? Is this part of the quest still working?

There's a blast from the past - the Evils Illusion can be found by accessing the Connected Path in Bichon, taking the second from the right path and following it through the underground. Off the top of my head, I believe the Large Diamond has a random chance of dropping.
