If you aren't enjoying the game why are you playing it? I reckon it would take me about 20 hours to make a corrupt XL. If that's too much of a 'pointless grind' for you, then this doesn't seem like a genre of game that suits your needs

You’re on the forum every day, so you should know—after the initial period of oversupply, there was a time when, due to things like account-binding changes, only two chips would drop. It wasn’t until a lot of players complained that the drop rates were increased again.





I see you don’t really play much anymore and mostly just stay on the forum. Go and actually experience it—you’ll realize it’s no longer the same “materials flooding everywhere” situation you remember.

I on holiday right now, out of the country, so I'm not playing anything. When I'm home I split my time between this and arc raiders in the evenings. I do make the time to keep a close eye on the forum though as I like to chit chat and also like to help others where I can and keep close ties with the community.

Regarding the point in question though, maybe things have changed recently, but when I was researching for my site a few months ago I was finding a lot chips as I went along.

When I'm home I'll give it a try and see how it is now. Maybe it's changed, maybe it hasn't. Either way I'll share my findings with you. I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, and I'm happy to show you how if it turns out I do get a lot more drops than you. Let's find out

I just tried it now, as you asked, and it was actually a fair bit faster than I'd guessed

On taoist it took me 46 mins to make a CorruptGem(M)
On warrior it took me 57 mins to make a CorruptGem(M)

Need 9 of those to make an XL

So on taoist would be 46x9 = 414 mins (just under 7 hours)
On warrior would be 57x9 = 513 mins (8.5 hours)

Do it during double drops lunar and you'll have your XL in an afternoon

I think its similar to SoulPrisims and Forgotten Corridors, that is doing it on a wizz as well. Quite often take guildies there if they need to make them its a lot better drop rate than the DS cave in West Bichon.

I’ve long suspected that the GM put some kind of restriction on my account, and now it seems like that suspicion has basically been confirmed. Ever since I started collecting Fire Chips, I’ve felt that something wasn’t right. The drop rates have never seemed normal to me.

It's common for people to think that to justify why they are getting less drops, when the reality is it's probably just your technique. If you've got the time I'd be happy to run with you for an hour and see if I can help you learn to hunt more effectively

I could get on board with this if I didn't think that the GM was too wrapped up in his personal life & working on updates to even give a shit about doing stuff like that. We are lucky to get a forum reaction these days, so if you are really getting all that attention then I am jealous.
