Hi all

im back in game after a loooooong period away and so much has changed

ive played for about a month with 3 chars, Tao lvl 76 / Wiz lvl 77 / War 104, but am struggling to find any thread on forum where there is a list of the skill books and locations

Ive read several posts saying to buy from store/stalls but the levels of my chars the books arnt really being sold, plus im short of gold so I couldn't afford for example Lion Roar from book seller, so im looking to grind the locations of the book drops to get what I need

If anyone can assist with the locations/bosses/etc for the below books I would be hugely grateful

Im currently only looking to get books of around my char levels but this thread may help other players with higher level books

Generally bosses will drop books of a similar level to the boss itself. So if you're looking for books around level 70-80 you should kill bosses that are around level 70-80 for example
 
Ive encountered this aswell but spent a day going from Low lvl places to another, and killing stuff for the lower books,i brought my Arcamon whit me so i as u running around killing stuff for books u get the low lvl food aswell. Im not sure if i got the name right here but in Bichon>slave pens ore something along these lines where u come to a room full whit black mobs drops allot of books in there aswell, for the more higher ones i checked stalls/AH ore just asked people in game and they 8/10 times will direct u to what boss u need. Im hunting my battleCharge & swordmanship as got all the other ones for my current lvl, so people will help, but i would Löööööve to see a list of it on here at some point ,Fingers crossed some kind person will ^^.
 
The problem here, like with a lot of good drops, is that the people who know where they drop want to keep that information to themselves. Revealing it to the world would mean those places become very busy and it reduces their income stream :)
 
I do see this as a recurring issue, books are not really as rare as they appear, just people don't know where to look for them. I will review this situation, especially for levels below 100

Haha yes u are very right,picked up on this aswell, people are not very fond of shareing info about drops places ect but can always be hopeful that someone might just take pity on the newbies and help them out whit a list ore summit ^^ stranger things have happen :p

This is a nice candidate for an information page that could be added to the Ashley NPC in BW

Yeah good point.. I didn't think about that issue.

But, like in many online games, there are many people willing to go out of their way to help other players... It keeps me happy knowing there are like minded players still in the community :)

Yes it's good that there's quite a range of good guys and bad guys here, keeps it interesting!

The thing is GM has all these info in tips of his hand.. im guessing what he really needs to hear is how effective spells are, wether they bring big or less advtangate to caster, does it balance or unbalance the order, does it give u the ability to pursue certain game play style.. i dunno i could think of so many other reasons....

Ive got what looks like the torn part of a book front cover "Entr.." and "Conf"
im assuming these are part of the missing pages

How do I recreate the books?

Not a bad shout. We did put some hints in the areas for some of the skill books but I agree this needs looking over again.
