I did a search and most of the answers i got where really old so i had a few questions.

I just came back and started a new character i was playing a wiz as there was a wiz guide pinned and i figured it be easy to follow, which it is.

But i was wondering i will be playing solo most of the time so what would be the best class for me? On euro i was a warrior main.

Is there any sort of guide like the wizard one for warrior and tao?

Is there a death penalty, do you drop when you die?

Any other advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

All chars can be played solo, just need the know how.

As far a guides go I don’t think any one has done one for Tao and warr yet. I can give you the same info that always get posted of these threads though, do the quests :) great way to get to know the server. There’s also an npc in BW that explains the levelling areas by class

When you die you can drop from body and bag, it’s random

Welcome back, hope you're enjoying the server so far!

As Alsiral said, all classes can be played solo, but each have their own styles, so generally best to pick the class that suits what you want from the game. Why don't you make 1 char of each class and get each one to say around level 110, by which point you'll probably have a good idea of which one you're enjoying most, then just stick with that one.

There's an NPC just to the north of the middle of safe zone in BW that gives advice on low level areas to hunt by class and level, although it is a little out of date it'll still be useful as a rough guide. There's also a suggestion that comes up as a system message in the chat box with level and class appropriate advice.

The key is to play the game in a way you enjoy, if you're having fun then the levels will fly in. If it seems like a boring grind, then maybe you're doing something wrong and it's time to ask for more advice.

Also don't worry too much about getting kit with added stats to start with, until around level 130 you'll do fine with just wearing basic shop versions of the highest level kit you can fit into.

Good luck!

Hi bud, I was original a war on euro aswell but found war being a slow grind on here solp so then made a wiz to give it a try and Tbh found it so mUchida easyer, if your playing solo then with a wiz you'll lvl faster and be able to explore most of the game then you can decideasily if you want to grind a war up aswell

Everything Creem said. Was is good but slow to lvl the game is owned by good Taos and wizards the 2 class can smash 2-3 war at once that’s only if your good. Ps a good war with good dc can also 1-2 hit taps/wiz overall it’s balanced the question is how do you like playing MIR?

Thank you guys.

I decided to play a warrior, mage was much quicker but i forgot that mir uses the f keys for skills and i havnt used the f keys for years and my keyboard has tiny ones so was getting annoying playing the piano on tiny keys lol

I am playing a war now, feels very nostalgic and a lot less buttons to press.

One more question though is there a book shop in a town i have missed that sells tdb etc as i took a look but could not find it, if not wheres the best place to hunt it and which other war books should i look out for?

Thanks again, seems like a really good community so far.

TDB is in the game shop (100gg) press the game shop button at the bottom right of your interface.

If you don't want to pay real money for gg it's still easily obtainable, there's a good consistent market for gold bars (10 mill gold) which are selling at the moment for about 30gg each (the exchange rate varies, I've seen gold bars go for as low as 22gg and as high as 45gg, so right now the economy is fairly in the middle)

Also I should add, that rare items can also be sold for gg to other players, but at your level you're very unlikely to get anything that is valuable enough for that
