I myself think Name Changer Scroll should be added in-game.

Why? Because most of the players in-game are unhappy with their character name as you see, some have realised this at a state where they're too high level to start a new character

(E.g i'm LVL 160 with a name asasasasa it's too late for me)

The scroll would cost nothing, maybe add it to the game shop for 50 game gold? If not maybe make bosses drop them

If it doesn't suit the game shop then I advise you to make it sold by rt/torch/poison NPC's


What do you guys think?? Should NameChangerScroll be added to the game? If yes where can you purchase it/ where can I find it?

Don't think it's a good idea cos means ppl who have stole chars can change there identity , or theifing players with bad reps could change and con ppl again

You meantion a few reasons why it Will never happend tbh. Another reason is the fact that someone being a cunt or big pker, or someone like Supertramp can easy change name and do some stuff all over again without anyone know it are same dude. Most of players on server, even Imms;), are good fun players. But the few dicks would take advantage of it.
On the other hand. If it do come a change name scroll i be the first to change my name :)

The king said it himself 'few' yes there are only a few nuisances in these servers, Simply just don't trust them, when you find a lvl 140 char begging for gold Don't give = DONE. , Don't guild random people too..

name changed would be ok if. …. the player had never cheated or scammed... if they had cheated at some point, maybe put their new name in red and cheating fuckwit in brackets..
 
Nono if we have a counter attack this would work brilliantly,

Maybe when you view the players stats, there would be a text saying - That would make things easier and would stop cheaters and scammers AGREED?

From what i see y'all smart enough to catch scammers and cheaters...
My idea fixes it all:
When you click Ctrl + right-click to view a players stats

A text in dark red would be saying 'FirstName:(playersfirstnamehere) , if they changed multiple times then the game would record that SecondName: , ThirdName and so on...

That would let you know who's who, and would make most players happy

Most people who disagree with this probably are satisfied with their characters name and are probably having a laugh at other people's name
For example :
HAHAHAH SUPER TRAMP HAHAHA HES A BLOODY TRAMP AHAHA SUPER WHATS SUPER MORE LIKE UGLY HAHAHAHA

Other people's names might be your daily laugh


PS: soz super really couldn't think of any names dont take this seriously, this is only an example ;)

This would ONLY benefit scammers and cheats. Normal players would almost never use this. There's maybe a couple of people in the game who are unhappy with their character name. It's a significant amount of work to pander to this and would benefit almost nobody. Will never happen.

It doesn't take that much work only a few ten lines of code...
There are loads of people out there Zade who will not tell u 'hey buddy I hate my name, the people who have said this are only a couple does not mean that there are a couple of people who want it! My idea as u saw its quote

This would benefit both dumb cheaters who don't know that when people view their stats they can see their OLD NAME.
It would also benefit nearly 75% of the server, I bet u Zade we can make a poll on this

seems like effort for something only a handful of people would want. How would this look on rankings? How could it be abused? Also with most games choosing ur name is like the no.1 thing ur gunna wanna get right as most of the time ur stuck with it once u choose it. Surely you should of thought about this when choosing the name asasasasasa or w/e it is lol
 
We are humans, we have regrets I once loved the name FireBoi now I hate it I regret playing Mir 2 with that name.
We aren't good at deciding names sometime you'll like 5starstore the next time you wont thats life pal

1. Forget all this ever happened
2. Complain endlessly without expecting anything to change
3. Complain endlessly and expect Scorp to make changes without knowing if anyone actually wants it or not
4. Try to find out how popular the idea is and then submit a serious request for it with evidence of it's popularity

Looks like your favourites are 2 and 3

Absolutely stupid idea

And yes i wouldnt mind a name change but there's no real need for this change for all the aggro it would create
 
We've had this idea brought up a couple times before in the past but never could see any real value to it. Seems like it would just open up a gateway for abuse and misconduct rather than an actual cosmetic benefit long term.
