Help Request Request for Class Balance Adjustment

I would like to respectfully raise a concern regarding the current class balance on the server.

At present, many new players tend to choose Tao or Warrior, as the Wizard class appears significantly weaker in comparison. This imbalance discourages diversity in gameplay and limits the overall experience for both new and veteran players.

I sincerely hope that adjustments can be made to strengthen the Wizard class and ensure fair balance among all character classes. Such improvements would encourage more players to explore different roles and contribute to a healthier, more engaging community.

I would disagree with this lvl 210 tao lvl 202 wizz.... i got my wizz to lvl 200+ in about 3 months or so as they can lvl faster than any other class. my wizz can stand alot more punishment than my tao can. I prefer to play my tao than my wizz. this said i would like to know what you mean by "weaker" as i would say warriors are the weaker class and tend to just fall over in any decent size lure. It could just be your play style letting you down or even kit.

You can level a wizz easy in events but normal game play is a nightmare and alot easier to just have a tao, you can kill bosses and solo most things, wizz rely on pets. im going to play tao more because its alot better gameplay

If you want to progress as a wizard, you're going to lose pets regularly. The time and effort to replace these pets is too high. When Planes of Acheron has 3800+ mobs and you have to spend about 1 hour to find a blue one to tame, something should definitely be done about it. The simple thing here is to significantly increase the spawn rate of blue tamable mobs.

Is this the right place to mention that before any class balance or adjustment, there needs to be a solution to all the warriors going round and using lionsroar to just identify the supers and champs leaving the average player no prospect of earning demon souls?

Food for thought

Wizzies still rocking about with lvl 180 pets . They do almost 0 damage with 2.4K mc . There are two classes in the game warr and Tao . Agree wizzies need to be looked at .

I think most people who used to play wizz have now either made a warrior or Tao .

Yeah true, the new wiz players really got the short end of the stick.

Before, wiz was super strong, but now it feels like they nerfed it too hard. For newbies with low MC and MA, it’s almost impossible to keep up

The class feels punishing instead of rewarding.

No wonder so many end up quitting and switching to another class 😅
it’s just not beginner-friendly anymore.
Honestly, the balance changes made wiz way too harsh for fresh players trying to learn the ropes.

That's how it reads to me. The players who are strong today have already put in the years of grinding to build their kits. A lot of newer players just don't want to invest that same amount of time and effort anymore.

You see it all the time during events—people love them because they can level up quickly, but once the event ends, they realise their kit isn't anywhere near the standard needed for that level. They compare themselves to long-time players, decide it's too hard to catch up, and end up quitting or rerolling instead.

As a 'new' warrior playing solo, I can only buy, buy and buy with expensive & frequent repair costs. I agree Wizz life is more complicated, but looking at the bosses they can handle, I am jealous. So it is in some way balanced.
Maybe I should have chosen a tao...

I don't think that a rebalancing is needed All classes have their strengths and weaknesses.
I started playing about a year ago and chose a wiz based on my past experience with mir always enjoyed the kill from a distance TUing everything and the laying down floor spells and running mobs through them style of play it was fun for a bit but I don't think I did it as well as maybe I could have I got to 153 and knew that I hadn't done as well as maybe I could have and then came skull island a chance for a fresh start with a bit of knowledge gained from the few months I had played before a completely solo existence would say hi to people in passing but didn't really invest any time in socialising, skull island was my chance to correct some mistakes I think that I had made.
I choose to create a new wiz again but I also changed my approach to how I played the game.
It's all about play style, I talked to other players offered help to other players hunted in groups with other players socialising learning growing in the game fast forward to now and I confess as a lvl 201 wiz there have been times where I have struggled with being able to lvl as quickly outside of event as I did during them but that's to be expected event mobs tend to be too easy to kill and then the reality sets in when they're gone.
But that's not a fault of the game that's my fault! Because rather than lvl my kit to scale with my character I thought I would be fine with decent rolled kit with max orbs and it's simply not the case.
Knowledge is power from playing with some of the highest lvl players in the game I have learned how to be a better player and that includes choosing the right way to socket my gear and build health pots, when I'm lvling I've got 10k hp that makes my survivability better and over time I've added MC+15 gems to my items too.
This is the hardest part of being a wiz gaining the MC required to damage the mobs that are around your lvl I stopped lvling when I got to 200 and started to focus on building my kit, killing bosses nonstop gaining all my lvl 4 skills (only need 3 more!) finding, trading and buying the crystals to improve my character to a point where I feel like I'm contributing when hunting with the players I play with rather than being a passenger I've started to catch up with them not in lvl but in terms of being useful I'm now contributing to hunts when we hunt in places I wouldn't go to on my own.
The imbalance I find in the game is more based on the market, supply and demand there are more Taos now so the costs of their E crystals are exponentially higher than that of wiz and war E crystals have always been here during my time so I never used MC10s but some of the higher end kit that's available to buy have 10s because that's what was available when they where created this would apply to all classes.

I rely on my pets to boss hunt but outside of that I don't really use them

It's because at higher lvls they can't stand and fight a lure that a wiz and Tao can handle wars are squishy 😂
But they have their uses LC & FF bring the mobs in let the Wiz burn them all lures for warriors=death solo but with a wizz mobs=blood storm targets and health regen whilst they burn

Many new players on our server tend to choose either Taoist or Warrior characters. This is largely because, before starting, they research which class is considered “overpowered.” As a result, the majority of players end up selecting Warrior or Taoist, creating an imbalance in character distribution. My intention is to address this issue and implement measures that will help balance the game.

How do you say they are underpowered when the NUMBER 1 Ranked player on this server is a wizz?? as i said before it sounds like a skill/kit issue to me. each class has its pros and cons you just need to find the best way to play each class that will work for you. complaing on here aint going to help you get stronger in the game. if everything was easy the game would not have been running for as long as it has. it just seams to me that people want everything handed to them on a plate and dont want to do any work for it.

Then their research is poor because wizards are the fastest and easiest to lvl from the off.
If you put the time in like mentioned above you can get a wiz to lvl 200 in 12 weeks you would struggle to do that on a Tao and I wouldn't think you could achieve that on a war unless it was multiple players and exclusively had a Tao or wiz to group with.
