Relatively new player looking for help

What class are you again? For souls there’s an NPC in mongchon that gives you a daily quest to fill your meter and rewards souls.

I think at 135 maybe sunken temple I was in. Can’t remember.
Wizzy, got some good aoe spells at the moment so I should be good to go most places.

Bumping my own thread here, What is the best way to get Demon Souls then what is the best place to level at, I feel very stuck at the moment at level 135. everything has slowed down immensely.
For demon souls as Kraken said above, the daily quest helps massively, you can get 42 souls per day from doing that.

Also killing blue/red mobs works, best way to do that is pick a room that you can clear repeatedly and just keep clearing the same area, when it respawns there will be more blues and reds for you. Note that you don't get demon souls in caves that cost demon souls to enter. At your level the best places to do that would probably be crystalline passage, or if you're ambitious try savage terror or desert tunnel. Should be decent enough exp for you there too

You’ll be good. I would say cursed jungle could be better give the slower mobs and numbers. I can give you a hand but won’t be on until Monday.
Cursed jungle is good for players who aren't as familiar with the game. Similar exp per mob, but as you say they are a lot slower and thinner on the ground, so it's ideal for someone who is learning how to play their character. If it's too easy and too slow, then savage terror is the logical place to visit next

Will give STT another chance, I just keep getting my ass beat because I wanna do damage with CoP but i should prob just inferno and rotate around room

It's so satisfying getting a good CoP hit and hear that boom noise hitting like 10+ mobs 😁

There's definitely technique to it, it's an excellent place to practice, as you'll need the technique later on, the mobs do get relatively harder as you go up levels so now's the perfect opportunity to get your muscle memory trained!

You can do a mixture of moves, get inferno down for sure, run around a bit, get blaze and a couple firewalls down too if you have time and it's a big enough lure to warrant it. Bit of running around and firestorm, with the odd CoP when it's safe-ish to do so.

Don't be embarrassed to use repulse to help you escape if things get a bit hairy, and keep an arcamon (literally anything) to hand, spawn it as a distraction to help you escape if you get stuck.

There's also the tactic of placing inferno carefully so there's 1 space between inferno and the wall, stand in that 1 space, so you have your back to a wall or corner so only a few mobs are hitting you at once, you'll take a lot less damage, and the mobs that are hitting you will be in your inferno!

Fire damage and PDR (physical damage reduction, not to be confused with PD - physical defence) are the key stats for a mid level wiz, not worth investing in at this stage as you'll grow out of kit too quickly, but if you find anything cheap that already has these stats then it's worth grabbing for sure!

Sorry kinda got carried away, hope some of that was helpful to you at least. Best of luck 😍

Sorry for the late reply zad this sounds perfect, I've gone back a couple times since and get some good exp, still gets too hairy and I fall over lols. Will try the inferno next to the wall. before I was using STT champions as my sort of wall with an inferno right where they r standing but your method sounds a lot more reliable. Thank you for the advice!
