I've waited a while to post as wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to the server regarding drops and area changes, not sure if it is me but loosing the will to live on the server which is a shame as have loved playing over the last year or so.
Obviously this post is just my opinion but if I'm being a muppet tell me so please!
For a successful Mir server you need players both established, and new for a long life and a sustainable Mir economy for all levels to hold interest and afford to play. The server now seems a tad biased towards the lower levels and new players, lower gold amounts, freeexp etc. High levels to get any exp really hunt the same few maps, as a Tao at 175 I find myself limited to solo hunts in PB as can't kill quick enough in Orcs and unless I'm missing maps no where else to go.
If you look at most players of a high ish level the kit it is all the same unless fortunate enough to get Cele. Celestial is exceptional rare and rightly so but with crafting there is not a massive difference from well crafted kit after the mid 150's, there isn't a massive variety to choose from which leads to a block in AH, the same items sit in AH not selling so reducing income there.
Gold drops have ben tweaked so now not easy to make money IMO but the rest of the economy hasn't changed, you should at least be able to cover your repair costs while hunting as a minimum, you just can't do that these days. If Gold drop rates change the repair costs must also be addressed which they haven't. I used to keep a pot of approx 100-130 mil, that's now down to 40m with repairs etc, I would love to add the final socket to my new armour (thanks CNY event) but can't afford the 63m for the final socket lol.
I guess to a certain extent I'm having a rant as getting extremely frustrated that after a years hard graft the changes just don't seem to make sense, it's not that it's harder to level, I both know and expect that otherwise there is no point in levelling but, give us a chance....
