Rarity of items dropped by mobs

Is there anyway to tell the rarity of items without picking them up and checking them one by one? from my little play time last night i noticed same items could have different stat amounts and then normal/superior/... on top of that but didnt notice any difference when it just sitting on the floor waiting to be collected

If they are dropped red they re added, use a scroll to open them, anything that drops white is norml
