Whats up with the Radio silence from the GMs ? last forum post was like 2 weeks ago, Xmas shopping?

Can we possibly have the warm up event to Xmas skipped and have the event start on the 14th instead? There isn't much of a reason to log on right now and event might bring back some players that left for Primordials Rise.

Also Loki right now is old NagaLord all over again, over tuned and ignored, if Mir still had the player base it use to have it would be fine but there isn't the numbers now a days.

Apologies for the eerie silence lately, things have been really hectic with plenty to do in a tight time frame. On top of that, I drew the short straw and they've had me working away again longer than normal.

We'll have a think about a warm up event if time permits. Any ideas?

Thanks for the feedback on the new Loki btw.

The NPC in town says there is a pre event buff before main event starts I think I speak for most of us when I say we would prefer that was skipped and main event started on the 14th instead.

Loki should be a challenge but right now it's a one shotter, making defensive kits for every area in the game is unrealistic and you would need a lot of it to stop Loki one shotting you in it's current state.

100% agree to just extend the event and not bother with the magic find / drop rate buff days because its kinda hard to even notice a difference in anything. I will say though the double/triple supers and champions are awesome and think most people would prefer this.

Drop rate day was amazing, as is supers and exp day. Magic find was a disappointing waste of time though.

After a few months of the game am suprised how flat the game is , must be like the calm Before the storm of the event maybe ? Think kicking off the event a little early might not be the worst idea to be fair :p

The problem with starting the event early is one of balance. If the drop rate during event is elevated, which it usually is, the market ends up flooded and it messes with the economy, making the event last longer will just exacerbate the issue. Mitigating that by slowing down the drop rate would just end up with people crying about the event being shit. There's no good solution, other than to ignore the serial moaners who will complain about everything anyway regardless of what gets done, and focus on providing high quality content for the people who enjoy the game for what it is, a 20 year old role playing game.

There are usually 3 main annual events here, Halloween, Christmas, and Easter, and 4 mini events (1 before each of the main events as a warm-up and 1 in summer). During these events the player count is definitely elevated, not just from old players who have quit who now only come back on for events, but also from current players who may spend longer playing each day than normal. There are quiet times for the server which aren't necessarily anything to do with the actual server/events, these seem to correspond with busy times of year for people outside of the game, for example summer when many people are dealing with kids who are off school or going on holiday, and december when things are really busy leading up to Christmas.

If you're finding the game a bit flat, then there's a few solutions. Perhaps this kind of game just isn't for you, but if you've stuck with it for a few months than that's likely not the case, you maybe just haven't found your niche yet. Everyone plays the game for different reasons and gets enjoyment from different aspects of it, that's the beauty of a game that's as open as this, you can really do what you want. I don't know who you are in game, but maybe try changing your guild, or make a character of a different class would mix things up a bit for you and you find yourself enjoying it again. Of course feel free to message me ingame any time, if I'm not afk (which I usually am, I often leave myself logged in when I go to work/sleep) then I will reply and I can help you out a bit.

The market always evens out 10mill = 30ish GG.

And a change in market isn't always the worst thing either.

Your right though people complain regardless.

The cost of gg=gold is one aspect, but in addition to that I mean the items that drop during event that are usually rare end up worthless because everyone has all they need and nobody wants to buy them.

Example at Halloween event I had 2 store chars full of lvl 146 and 150 items unidentified, normally I'd be able to get a few mill for each of them, but at end of event most of them weren't even worth IDing and many got sold to shop as they were, cos everyone else had just as many so nothing was special

When we ran events for two weeks people complained they were too long. Now we do different types of events over a two week period. I appreciate that may not be to your liking.

As for Loki that's fine too. I don't think it's over-tuned. I suspect a certain group of Italians would make short work of him. Either way there would be complaints that there's no challenge in game if it were easy to kill the most powerful super-boss currently in game

The Italians had the numbers lol, the game doesn't have them kind of numbers right now. And no where did I post it should be easy.

You guys had about 8 on for the war and pointed out that you were vastly outnumbered. On that basis I'd say there's plenty people online on both sides to do these things. Just nobody bothers lol

We had 5 on for the war. And was vastly out numbered that's not to say the players who out numbered us was capable players. I bet 70% of them would struggle to kill troll King less alone loki.
