The travelling Trader quest is broken you get a broken charm quest item go back to Giovanni and the quest is not completed and all he says thank you so much for saving my friend ?? Any help

I think that is how it's always been, it's not marked on the NPC as completed like the rest of them, but you should have got the reward for completing the quest. OCD nightmare

I never even noticed that the quest didn’t say complete, I’ve been looking for what the broken charm is for and read a few posts from way back in 2006 bout this quest not being complete.

But really what is the broken charm really for I have a ( think it’s called ) sacred charm too.
