This area is the main leveling area for many from 160 - 175, yet it has the poorest sustainable income from drops, etc.

After being a little frustrated with the lack of items dropping whilst leveling from 165-168 in PB i decided to make a note on paper of % exp to items dropped.

e.g. 169 11% to 73% 2 red items , 18 pure gems 10 normal gems.
169 83% to 170 31% 1 red item , 16 pure gems , 4 normal gems.

this just a quick look at the stats I have collected, surely it shouldn't so poor that during leveling here you couldn't even have a chance to update your gear, refine anything etc.

This area really does need an overhaul ....

Guessing part of the problem is the mobs are quite tanky so as a Tao solo you can't really sustain a kill chain without comitting to a serious amount of continuous hours to help with the drops.

From listening to conversations in game more people are hunting chips as they don't time out any more, the drop rate may need keeping an eye on as with more people hunting them it could be quite frustrating not getting any lol.

Dark and Fire Chips as they tend to drop from Blue or red supers that dont often drop them or anything in the way of items either.
What about the general mobs , is it feasable to kill 5000 mobs and not have 1 item drop ,even with finding potion and treasure trinket when people where doing the MIR Weapon quest had very very few items drop.
The typical drop even from a red was 2 -3 MP or HP pots 2 flowers , does matter which way you slice it this area needs looking at .....

Hate that these para. Stun is fine. But using DV on mobs that para is a death sentence. One para isn't that bad but it can chain into multiple.

Unless your massively over leveled for the area then maybe it's fine.

I play wizz. PB certainly after GORGE is extremely difficult. For wizz there are only few places where you can do lvl. A big part of the problem is the archers who, besides giving poison, cant be TU. Since 2014 I only played tao until recently. It's a bit easier in PB because you can use confusion but that means extra time.
BTW I want to thank GAMEMASTERS for finding a solution for wizards related to shield and now I can continue playing

lmfao,legit only thing he changed is that you dont need to use that noob shield and then the Dragonfire shield. This mechanic was in game since 2014. you always was able to refresh timer like that
 
Wiz have always had it ez mode in the newer caves. Zt being the biggest one honestly. I find it sad that mid tier gear wiz can blast through any of those areas at level with relative ease. Meanwhile a 182 war with the best kit in-game can struggle.

Good for instance. My 160 wiz can clear faster in pb than my 180 war.
Wiz has about 1k gg in kit
War has 10k+

But we really needed a spell like diamond skin! Lol

Personally I’ve never found anywhere that can sustain my lvling. Maybe you don’t know but thunder pass and lava caverns is double supers and champs. If you clear this cave and start again you’ll find a shit load more uni items. I wouldn’t recommended lvling in any other rooms of pb.

Ooo ooo rllyy spoiling the game please explain is it because he has put money and time into the server thts why? Is it because he has pretty much completed all content? Please explain why this single individual is spoiling the game I'm confused

Him and bv can solo mk the best dropping boss in-game. Bvs kit isn't orbbed or slotted lol.

This is why me personal got to the point i dont fancy arcadia anymore exept some wars and events. All classes are to OP. No class should be able to solo MK. Newest boss in game. Best dropping boss in game that 1-2 players been killing continuelse seens start.. even if you in same guild and are friends you obviusly must see the wrong in that and my belife is that 100% not helping the server sustain the players....

That's how Loki was when people first figured how to kill. Always goes the same way. Wish there were more bosses worth fighting for or better ones similar to gruumsh. Grum/king ob never worth the trouble in comparison alot of other bosses.
 
Seems everyone has gone a bit off topic and started your petty squabbles again. Pb has always been poor for drops even way back to euro. This topic has been addressed before a good while ago and nothing done. These little tweaks on drops etc that aren't done all contribute to the user count decline. If your happy where you are your head doesn't get turned and you don't end up going elsewhere.
OFF TOPIC. In regards to the main bosses in game, no boss should be solable. It should take a decent team to kill them but there should be a reward afterwards no a fine grinding oil and a bene and a few flowers.

My main point is leveling areas for people with normal kit for there lvl should be able to level with drops that may help them progress or least aid them to refine better along the way , most areas up to PB provide that , I not saying a bag load of drops each trip just a balance which has yet to be found in PB at all.

I personally think there’s too many gold sinks which Leaves the only feasible currency as gg. It’s become pay to play. Not pay to win anymore. Repairs too expensive, orb crafting to expensive. Opening items too expensive.
Soloable bosses shouldn’t happen. Hard to balance tho. The bosses need huge hp and less damage and things that make u need a group.

Also the fact that no cave after pb drops no rares ( celestial, holy crystal, rejuvenation robe) is massively demoralising. Makes them caves completely useless unless ur upgrading a 180+ weapon or armour which is worse that’s than a lvl160 celestial arm or wep.

Orc bosses are total trash. (Sorry for the pun) orog, Gruumsh and king obould drop absoloutely nothing of value. They drop uni items that we can get 10x easier from mobs. They’re basically just red mobs. Sometimes red mobs drop better than these bosses. Gruumsh spawns like once a week if we kill the eyes. One Loki has dropped better than every single Gruumsh that’s ever spawned put together. Loki was released a year before Gruumsh aswell.
There should have been new super sets added when then caves was added.

All bosses should also drop crafting stones 1/1 like orc flesh stone fire chips etc
 
I agree on a new legendary set, 160 items being the best still is a bit odd. People are 20 levels higher than that now. But scorp has said now that spells have been updated we can expect content next so patience I guess.

Pb was not poor for drops even on euro lol. There was an entire guild dedicated to killing oma king when released and I had 3 43 weps off it within 2 weeks of release. It was scaled back because guild I was apart of would have 20 wizzys camping inside kr door.

The big problem imo is gp caves. After naga the difficulty spike goes insane. Pb and orcs are not very war/tao friendly but wiz had no problem so it's fine. Zt is the same way but it's fine too.

Item drops unless your 181-183 are just super meh. Always have been. I quit 3 times between 100-138 because I just couldn't gear my char without spending gg. Finally got 140 and pkd some nice kit and just keep rolling. I've been incredibly lucky and made about 25k gg in the last year if not more. That's not a usual thing.
