Breaking News Headline: More people play during events

I think what hes getting at is theres not much incentive to play not enough engaging content when your high level with a good kit, the rune drops have slowed down by only ever getting XS, the drops are pretty much invaluable due to the influx of elysian gear making almost every other kit obsolete and many of us dont get the satisfaction of just creating another character to run round the same circle, totally understand the importance of slowing content / drops down to ensure the longevity of the server but mot everyone is comfortable with exactly how much its been dialled down.
 
surely it's better to offset these influxes during events with a more rounded game week on week for a constant user count, rewarding people who actually show up day in day out - if things just operated reasonable day to day it would peak interest surely, and negate the need for events and part timers taking advantage. Man, so much to consider.
 
And I bought some runes and traded some to even manage that.
Also triple the price of dc and mc runes? Wtf is that about
Supply and demand. Tao is a very popular class atm so there's more competition for runes

I've not looked at prices recently cos I've got enough for now, but last year when I was buying runes people were trying to get 600-800gg for a single XL and I got called greedy and 'scammer' for offering half that. Madness 🤦
 
Always a hard balance isn’t it.

More work for the GM but it would be nice to see the ‘seasons’ model adopted. Similar to games like warzone. There would be a season running say between events culminating in the event being end of season. Could have season specific drops/achievements. Don’t need to be uber good stats compared to others but can be similar or a balance. Maybe some relevant quests that would take time and help.

Events are great. Day to day is okay at my level for a casual. But I understand the plight of those that are higher.
 
I’ve proved in game that a 3% rune increases dmg more than a E rune so that makes zero sense. They literally only make the dogshit tao pets hit slightly harder. Still die like weak little bitches. I don’t even use pets for leveling they are a hindrance to me and I outperform them on my own.
 
Unless i make the e runes myself over time, im just gonna stick with xl. For instance on tao i got a set of burning ely boots im doing up. Im just gonna add sc xl to it and 1% sa runes (basically as i make them myself through rune drops). No point wasting excessive time and effort trying for e runes and im not prepared to spend real money to buy them.
 
Tbh game work on tht way before I join holy items worth 1k+gg celes 2/3k+gg rejuvenate arm 10/12kgg those worth year market was good elys came in game in months or year worth good price then Xmas ruined it hope new rare no go same like tht as runes was good price 300+gg each xl only rich ppl make those worthy tht time thts it now i say bosses should drop runes XL/E chances 5% to get and worth good prices
