Feature Request New skills time to speculate

Wizard ones look like a new magic buff and some sort of meteor strike based skill, with the quote being wizards will rise (buff) and skies will fall (sky attack)... lets see

Yeah looks like a fire storm type skill probably has mix elemental damage with dark . and buff looks like some kind of dark damg boost based on the name . WIzz dont do any damage any way . :(
 
Here are my guesses:

Warrior
Wrath - replacement for damage field that also increases accuracy
CrossFury - CHM with the range of fire frenzy

Taoist
SoulEnhancer - UE but also increases some element damage stats
Terror something? - AOE mass confusion

Wizard
DarkVision - passive skill that boosts the effect of vampirism/bloodstorm
Other one - Fire version of multistrike/tbolt, rapid fire strikes
 
I just hope those armours dont require elysian ores and have to sell your soul to the 5 year andy plan to make it :D
For the new armor, I hope it can be upgraded.


The first upgrade stage could require:


  • Fire Gem XL ×2
  • Dark Gem XL ×2
  • Corrupt Gem XL ×1
  • Enchanted Diamond ×1
  • Glowing Acheron Relic ×2
  • Elysian Source ×1

That would be the complete requirement for Stage 1.


I think this combination would make the game much more engaging and give players something meaningful to work toward. In particular, I believe level 200+ players should be required to go back to Past Bichon and collect Fire Gems, with no Level experience awarded for doing so. The purpose should be purely to gather materials.


For Stage 2, the requirements could simply be doubled (everything listed above ×2).


Right now, the materials needed for the upgradeable armor are too easy to obtain. For players who truly enjoy the game, there isn’t much challenge involved. I hope the GM will consider this suggestion.

Soul enhancer I hope that’s not a Soul attack increase spell. I have max soul attack and 0 soul attack added on my kit so it would do absolutely nothing. A lot of other taos are built like this too

If you even took a moment to look at the screenshots, it is obvious the new kit is representitive of further upgrades to existing items
 
They’re defo Arcadian items in them screenshots. I can see the red capes too
Aha I don't know what those look like so I'd guessed they were the new upgrades listed in the npcs. Fair point if that's the case.

Hopefully the effort to upgrade and stat increase are representative of each other

It does seem like this is the third upgrade stage for the current level 200 gear. If that’s the case, then honestly it feels far too easy to upgrade.





I think the material requirements should be increased. Right now, upgrading ordinary gear is almost more difficult than obtaining and upgrading these rare items, which doesn’t make much sense.





In my opinion, it should require at least 2× Enchanted Diamonds. Otherwise, it feels like the requirements are being watered down too much.





Players who can obtain these rare items are already at the very top of the game’s food chain. I’ve already seen one player with a whole bunch of Arcadian gear listed on the AH for 2,000 GG each. Not only are they getting all this gear without spending money, but ordinary players are still being completely blocked by the material requirements for upgrading normal equipment.

Do you really think that’s fair?





The strongest players get upgrades that are easy to complete, while ordinary players have to struggle every step of the way just to progress their normal equipment. That doesn’t seem balanced at all.

In my opinion, this needs to be properly balanced. Rare equipment should be very difficult to upgrade. Ordinary gear shouldn’t take a year or more to complete, especially when the final stats are mediocre. The risk, time investment, and reward are completely out of balance.

What’s even more ridiculous is that the upgrade materials for rare equipment are actually tradable. The runes and threads are already available on the AH.





This GM is clearly making the strong players even stronger. What he fails to understand is that top players don’t need to buy GG with GBP because they can simply earn GG by selling rare equipment.





Meanwhile, ordinary players are the ones struggling with progression.





It’s completely backwards game design and makes no sense at all.
