Feature Request New Ancient Lichens?

as title says , as of now to make a pot it takes 20+ ancient lichens , could we have new ones? epic lichens maybe? im not asking for more time or anything , just maybe instad of 3mins and 8 lvls , like 10mins and 25lvls? or something like that? that i dont have to hunt 3 hours to make a pot that last for 2 hours... please :)
 
Lichens are usually okay to find but perhaps another look at crafting items since levels etc may have outpaced them now would be useful.
 
I'd vote no on this due to unforseen impact on the ever struggling economy.

Lichens are a way for grinders to make gold by selling them on AH to people. Removing these just strangulates the middle of the game even further.
 
I can see the value of this if the ratios stayed the same, so the old ones don't lose value

Current AncientLichen
Adds 3m20s, 8 levels
Sells to npc for 50k
Top level people need 19-20 of them per pot

If they were kept the same but a new version was added with the exact same ratios, just less bag space annoyance. In high level places only

Adds 10m, 24 levels (exact same as using 3 ancient lichen)
Sells to npc for 50k
Semi-rare drop in the highest level 2 or 3 caves only, for example a solo player with good kit clearing fast might find one of these every 5-10 mins or so
Top level people would need 6 of them for a pot, totally manageable

People would still buy ancient lichen, these new ones would likely have a market value of about 3x or maybe even 4x the value, as I expect the kind of people who would use them would be happy to pay slightly more for the convenience

It could work, if done carefully

dude if i make 2 pots buying lichens in auction they would be all sold out , what u talkling about? there are 3poeple selling them at this stage of the game? and people will still buy them but i cant spend 4-5mill for one pot and anyways there wouldnt be for the rest of the player enought. so Yep , we need new ones
 
There’s other stuff that add time. You just need to study ur alchemy abit more.
I’ve never bought lichens in the years I’ve played :)

I just disagree is that alright with you?

People aren't selling them right now because the game is kinda stale for the summer and turns out people are either banned/playing elsewhere.
 
its thank to people like you 2 that server is like it is.
propose something , add something , no just one disagreeing and the other one "study your alchemy".
u mean redflowers? which take more lvls and add less time? or need to wait events? so lets all just play events

If you got off your high horse you'd understand what ds was actually saying: It is cheaper to buy an additional pot than it is to buy lichen. Overall gaining more time because you gain an extra pot. Add ac/amc/hp/mp/agil instead to the x2 potions and overall gain more time than just one loaded with lichens.

Your attitude is shocking
