Had a few disappointments when I've revealed an item to be mythic but it's turned out to be useless, would it be reasonable for mythic status to also add some stars to the item so such things would at least produce a better design/essence when salvaged, at least then the mythic status would actually be adding some value

Just a thought :)
 
Or possible when you open say and item and its +8 lvls because of the wisdom mythic , when that item is salvaged can we get a ess/des from the lvl its shows rather than the original lvl.
 
Tried to upgrade a younger armour. Was lvl 150 used 151 des and 161 ess. Failed, so did a little higher still failed. Probs something that could be looked at.
