Wow, that's shockingly expensive. This needs looking into.It seals the socket, so you will have to pay to reopen it before you can add another.
Very expensive task! 300gg too much for the tool in my opinion
It's not something that's meant to be used regularly. Most players will never need to do it at all. It's a rare occasion that anyone would need to use one, and even then it's on endgame kit, 300gg is a drop in the ocean compared to what gets spent on that kind of thingWow, that's shockingly expensive. This needs looking into.
For 300GG or approximately £30 it should definitely leave the socket open.
Ye i agree, for 300GG i would pay this no problem if the socket remained. How about a second tool, or an npc that just destroys the mythic socket and source on an item.
I understand the mythic removal tool was made to bring more mythic sources in game, but I have many items I'd love to put another source on but refuse to pay 300gg for Everlast or midas lol.
Believe it or not, changes have been made to improve the quality/quantity ratio. I still have notes I made back a few years ago where I had 32 chars full of trash from one eventAl, I agree mythic should be special, but also at the same time, obtainable in a reasonable timeframe without forcing people to "just" play events.
The problem is, most mythic items are salvaged instantly because of just crappy sources or item/source combo.
After Christmas I had 6 characters full of 186+ mythic items. Of that like 5 or 6 were usable or had value over scrap.
The amount of 203 and up wisdom items I got was absolutely ridiculousProbably 3 toons full. Turned straight into salvage or stored on mules never to see the light of day.
People who have already paid the tool multiple times try to justify the prices because they want to protect the value of their kit and make other people pay what they had to pay.If enough is not said about this, how can we ever expect it to be tweeked?
I appreciate effort equals reward, but this is more than that, this is daylight robbery!
Although i can comfortably afford this via GG purchase etc i think my principles come into effect.
The special items you desire need to be rare or expensive. That’s the secret behind these types of games and one of the reasons the server has lasted longer than pretty much any other mir2 server.Al, I agree mythic should be special, but also at the same time, obtainable in a reasonable timeframe without forcing people to "just" play events.

Rare maybe, spending real life dollars that is excessive imo for pixels, no thanks! I think 300GG for removing the Mythic but leaving the socket is reasonable, anything more is a joke. If i wanted to spunk money, i`d go play Fifa Ultimate Team.
What so your telling me Extraction tool drops ?no one said you need to spend real life dollars.
everything that you can add myth to also drops, it’s just rare. If thing were not rare there would be no sense of reward or achievement when you found something or earned it through saving.
at the end of the day it’s a couple hundred mill. It’s a really small price to pay in the grand screams of things for making an end game item op
I dont think so. But they should add it to event drops so people can complete there kits and gain somethingWhat so your telling me Extraction tool drops ?
I don`t agree with this tbh, seems unfair to the casual player who`s life is not Mir and have other responsibilities and may get 1 or 2 hours a day game play. I can comfortably afford to buy it all, but i most certainly will not, not for what time i actually spend on the server.I can think of 3 situations that someone would reasonably want to use an extraction tool, and they are all pretty much endgame situations. Those kits are meant to be endgame, they are meant to be hard to achieve, they are meant to be expensive and time consuming
It's not about preventing free-to-play players from competing. Honestly, the advantages you'll gain are minimal. If you think it's too expensive or too time consuming, work on a different item first and you'll see much more benefit.
What this is about is the whales, there are a handful of people who spend truly obscene amounts of money on this game, and they want to feel special as a result, they need something to stand out. That's what mythics were to start with, but then everyone was able to get mythics. Since extraction tools were added that was the new special thing. If everyone who chucks £100 a month into the game can achieve the same kit as the whales, then there's a risk of those big spenders not bothering any more
