The NPC is in Ayarin Province and you go up into the spiritual looking temple

He will give you your karma status but unless it has changed, will not tell you how long to become positive. You just have to keep hunting mobs and not commit murder for it to improve.

Easiest way to get a vague estimate is just look at price of ID scrolls in tristam. 800k for owners on trist, 900k for everyone else. Each level of negative karma increases price by 20k

And how long does it take for an lvl to decrease? Doest it go down when you are idle? Or it goes faster when you are hunting?
