Does it matter what Id scrolls you use? are the stats of unidentified items determined at point of drop or when you id them?

It’s meant to but never seen evidence of that myself on fresh items.

Yes, and both

Items will drop with their set stats, the scrolls will help identify these. Use a lower scroll and it will likely show as lower quality then what it could of been, the higher scroll would of uncovered the extra stats. So if an item is artifact for instance, if you used a lower scroll it might id as supreme instead.

I must just be the unluckiest guy in mid history. Never uncovered an artefact!

Defo matters. A 9k scrolls will identify an item as 5 stars where if u used a 1m scroll it would probably be artifact. 1million% matters
