IceDrake vs Higher SC Necklace.

Possibly a silly question but does anyone know how much higher an SC level a necklace would have to be to offset the crit provided by an IceDrake neck?

I appreciate the Icedrake has a crit hit of 50 and strike15 but with SC in the mid 40's (without runes) there are a lot higher SC neckies out there. At what point does the higher SC outweigh the benefit of the crit if that makes sense?

I tested this out a long time ago and estimated 10 crit strike to be worth about 4% PA/SA/MA, but that was a massive generalisation and it will vary a lot depending on your other kit and what you're hunting.

Maybe it's time for some more testing. Interesting question

there's some pretty cheap high sc neckies out there, looks like you volunteered yourself to test for all the taos out htere =p

Pvp and wars your better off with the sc necky or cele necky because it has way more sc and crit strike/hit have 0effect in pvp.


Pve an Ice drake will always win. Don’t matter how added the sc necky is. The crit hit makes u have luck 100. So u will be doing max hits all the time. Once u lose that ur dps (damage per second) will drop dramatically. Plus you’ll lose alot of crit strike hits which can be up to 400% dmg increase.

Also u can drop cele necky or sc necky. U can’t drop ice drake
