Question Hey everyone, did the GM remove the Mythic trait when the Mythic source was taken away?

I noticed that with Bezeled source gear, if you’ve already embedded 3 gems, the sockets stay even after removing the Mythic source. A lot of weapons are using this to stack +40 DC. Like I saw a Mirslayer with Wisdom and +10% EXP, but the DC was clearly from the Vengeance trait.

I’m wondering if the GM has changed how this works. If I remove the Vengeance source now, will the weapon’s DC go back to normal (losing the 20-point bonus)? Or does it still keep the DC like it used to?

This tool costs 300 GG, which is real money, so I’m not really willing to test it blindly
 
I've removed veng from a weapon before and the stats didn't stay, same with every mythic

It's a misconception about the bezeled mythic that the ability stays when your remove it, it doesn't.

Bezeled mythic ability allows you to open one additional socket. If you remove the mythic then you lose the ability to open an additional socket.

If the socket is already open, then nothing in the mythic text suggests the socket will actually be removed
 
Also if you use a rune extraction tool on a bzelled item it removes the runes and closes all three slots so be careful if you ever use these. Also wisdom is the 10% exp mythic. You can only double mythic using bezel on rings bracers and normal necklaces like Elysian neckys
