Helllooooo | The Legend of Mir

Helllooooo

Still active. Welcome aboard. Hard to tell how many players because they proyur count includes a lot of stalls etc.

Things are relatively quiet at the moment, it gets a lot busier during events and summer is traditionally the quietest time of the Yr, so it's probably a good time to get stuck in and work on a new character so you're in a position to join in with others when the next big event happens!

There are loads of sticky threads with basic info to get you started. Happy to expand on anything if there's bits you find unclear. You'll find the Emily quests in border village will help you get a feel for the game again, and when done with those the Farmer quests in bichon wall will get you all the exp you need up to around level 70-80 or so. Until that point all the kit you need is in NPC shops and the books you need will be very easy to find. There's guidance ingame to help you find where, I'm sure you'll find it :)

After that point, use the H key and 'quick hunt' feature to see a choice of 3 level-appropriate caves, you can of course use the portals in towns to go anywhere you want, but those ones are usually good choices. Some are better for certain classes, so experiment with them and see which ones work for you!

If you plan on staying long term I strongly recommend doing things yourself as much as you can. A lot of new players get offered 'help' by boosted levelling and free kit from other players which is hard to turn down, but when you go down that path you end up stuck in a cycle of requiring those handouts more and more to progress atd are unable to do anything yourself, when they dry up you find yourself having to work for things solo and not having the skill to do so, the game will seem to hard and you end up quitting. I've seen it happen so many times, it's why I always offer as much advice and guidance as possible but avoid actually doing things for you and handing out freebies

Best of luck in your adventure!

I answered his question in the first 2 words. If that's all he wants to know then he can stop reading at that point, he has his answer

The rest was useful info than he can have or ignore, no harm done

Alternatively we can be like you and share negativity everywhere to put off anyone thinking of joining. I prefer my way

not p2w necessarily but it helps. expected timeframe to max depends on hours put in. Realistically you can make a few levels per day upto about 175. After that I have no idea.

how long does it take to level a char to max level?
Max level is 200. The last 10 are a lot slower, but not necessary to be competitive. Kit is more important than levels at that point.

If you have help levelling and put a bit of cash in then you can probably get to 190 in around 120-150 hours. If you're doing it all yourself and enjoy a grind then 400-500 hours is more realistic
