Threw this together quickly in excel (no, I didn't type out every box, it's calculated, before anyone starts haha)

Not sure how visible this will be, will edit and adjust if it's too hard to read. I'm not an expert on making things pretty, if anyone has reasonable suggestions on how to format this to make it easier on the eye I'd be happy to do it

Just hoping this helps people with new guilds make some sensible decisions around how high to level the guild, as I know many guilds have been caught out in the past by over-levelling themselves during events while points are plentiful then being unable to maintain stability once the event is over

If anyone is curious, the formula to calculate it is
stabilityformula.png
Where M is number of members and L is guild level

What are you suggesting to be "sensible decisions"?
Wouldn't events just give a temporary boost for the guilds level then when the event is over they will gradually go back to the level they were before? Assume they have the same amount of members and the same amount of farm.

Yes it does work like that, you're right, but it's not quite as simple a process as you'd assume. You can't just downgrade, you have to wait for stability to drop and automatically de-level the guild, but that process can take several weeks or even longer, and during that period of instability you're unable to add new members, or buy shields, or declare wars. It's a bit of a pain and unpleasant to work though, so some guilds may choose to avoid it by just keeping the guild level to something that will still be manageable after the events are done
