Frost tiger fail and wolf

Well happy to report I managed to get a pet took all day a lot of swearing. I did get a large present from tree this didn’t get the pet mind you, running around cave most of day didn’t cut the mustard either,

So decided to get some gold and have a look with large present safe to safe go down in gg very quick, then decide. To get med presents with demon souls no pets, at this point I was ready to throw the towel in and say that’s it no more.

Well I did it again Britney Spears style and got a large one and in I went killed the grotoloot and boom on the floor lay a tiger fml.

Yes from lootgroto and is random I’ve only had one drop but guildies have had a few . Blow anger bit of gg in getting the one mind you .

Can also drop in small and med I believe

Just an fyi, 9k+ souls in presents, 3k gg in large presents and keys for vault, 27 med present, 6 large. Meter, drop pot, erad weapon. 191 to 194.

180GG for 6 Large
21 Medium
2-3? Small

Resulting in:
1x Timestone
1x mount
0x FrostTigers
0x Trolls
0x Wolves

I've 7 mediums left and enough souls to buy about 20 more but I'm on track to strike out. The Halloween event allowed 3x medium to craft 1x large, but not so this time. Will update this post if 27 more mediums makes a difference.

Might help future players (possibly me in a year's time) I spent most of this event in Cavern1 (160-180) and over the week I found and killed 2x Wolf.
I spent a fair amount of time in Cavern2 but didn't see any pets.
I spent a little time in Cavern3 but didn't see any pets. Couldn't find the exit past here.

I also made a sub 100 char and spent some time in Cavern1 (100 and below). I didn't see any arcamon and I saw very very few other players. Given the number of RTs I spent in there and the lack of competition I doubt pets spawn there but lack of observation does not constitute proof.

PS. wtf is with the GrottoFighters' range? They hit screen-wide and seemingly 360 degrees around them. I don't like hunting the crystal temple cos these guys are stupid but this event made them mandatory.

Thanks for the nostalgia but sometimes a game slaps you hard enough for you to question what you doin' here? Just happened.

I was ready to give up but was lucky enough to get a troll drop from a medium present. I have spent a lot on GG through event.

Trust me, if i could give them away i would happily.

Just annoyed I wasted this much gg on items that will sit on a mule doing absolutely fk all for all eternity.

12x Wolf
16x Mounts

From approx 300 large caves, so I'd say frost tiger is around 1 in 30 chance, probably smaller chance in medium caves. Keep trying maybe you get lucky
 
How long on his Tao is more of interest to me. I struggle to complete a large cave on my Tao in the 30 mins.
