Nice one getting the website back online Scorpian. Hopefully some new players can now download the client and begin playing. I've personally enjoyed starting over again with fresh characters. 9 years on and theres still plenty left in the old gal.
 
Download is still not working, says page not found :/. I have some missing files in game so i cant see items and stuff properly
 
Also the website doesn't seem to be syncing with the game anymore so for example you can update your password on forums but when logging in to the game it remains unchanged.

Could be linked with the download issue
 
Two things, the Facebook page says that I'm at the limit for pending posts despite having joined it ages ago and I've been able to post there previously. There are several requests on there from players wanting the download link to be restored. I don't get why Scorp just doesn't comment or provide any updates to issues affecting things like this. I'm not going to invest in the game any more unless there is some reassurance that he still has his hand on the wheel and sorts theses issues out for the people that have asked. I get that he is probably busy with real life but it doesn't take much to give us a weekly update on the game. It's not like people are shouting for new cntent - they just want to be able to play the game, post on the facebook page and have a forum to use that stays live.

Facebook keep making "improvements" to groups and now you no longer "join" groups or something.. idk.. but yeah I always get a list of approve this, approve this, which is often spam adverts. But yeah I need to update on there soon

To be fair, its the biggest crash I've known across the 17 years that I've been boomeranging these servers and whilst it would've been nice to see a post of acknowledgement on the group or fan page, we did get a free week sub and 1.3x exp + supers event for the game crashing all weekend.

I think the download being next priority is great, then we can get some fresh blood pumping again and hopefully they don't all get PK'd off :p
 
wow I was so convinced the writing may have finally been on the wall for Arcadia and I was witnessing the slow end, really happy to have been wrong
