Bug Report Fire gem and dark gem chips

The guide says can get at past Bichon. I hunted around 100 red and blue mobs. Nothing was dropped. I’m on Subscribed Account.expires at 3/06/2023. And with Treasurer rune .I’m pretty sure something wrong.
 
These are a pain to get I know , they tend to drop more in the last 2 maps and the cave passages leading to EvilMir but don’t get your hopes up people have reported maybe 1 gem a week
Best way is to do the hourly 1 in monchong and if 185 do planes the fiery origglion drops both dark and fire gems
 
I’ve spent hours and hours and hours in past bichon with eradication weapon, subscription, and zip nada none.

That was every map, up to kr, clearing kr, kiling boss, going into thunder pass and second pass, multiple times.

Tried planes. Did 6% in hour and half at level 188, nothing.

Some have reported success rting around farming supers and champs.

I gave up. Don’t play my wiz anymore. Seemed the simplest solution. Now i level my tao until, well, we’ll see i guess.

Go in a group, mass kill in KR to get extermination meters up and sheer volume of kills will get you the chips you’re after. You also need to basically clear the kr b4 an rs too ensure you get max blues n reds respawning to help.
Chuck in a new or full moon event and ur laughing!
 
Yea, the times I play there are no groups. Maybe 5-6 active players. So that doesn't work.

And I've cleared kr many times. Cleared thunderpass 1st/2nd many times.

The only chips ive ever gotten were from the quest.

Its moot at this point i just play my tao to help what noobies I can. Tried to go into group hunt in yims and got pked immediately. This is "fun"?
 
Nahhh...pking a lvl 153 with a lvl 190 is pathetic. Even worse if you are in a PvE guild.

I was going to say that seems hard to believe, but I just heard you allied with imms main enemy (legacy). That changes everything and makes everyone fair game tbh. Bit unrealistic to ally with the main pk/grief guild and expect everyone else to leave you alone. If you want to be a pve guild my advice is not to hunt with known pkers
 
There ya go. We are allied with our own guild and 2 other dead pve guilds from noob island events.

You know why we dont ally with anyone?

We dont want to be in the middle of the drama between your guilds, but as hard as we try to stay neutral we keep getting dragged into it.

No, we will not ally with imms. No we will not ally with notd/legacy.

We are a PVE guild, and dont want to be in the middle of the bullshit.

It's as simple as that.

Ya'll have years of drama between you. We dont want to be apart of it. We just want to be left alone to level and do content.

But that doesnt happen. We try new content and get pkd away from it. We get driven away from bosses.

Ya'll wonder why people are leaving this server? There's your answer. It's the bullshit drama between 3 guilds that drags every new player into it when all they want to do is level.

Thank you for the confirmation, I'll challenge the person who told me otherwise on their lie. That's exactly what I want to do too. I never engage in pvp with the exception of enemy guilds, who are enemies of ours because they do exactly what you're saying, indescriminate pk against players of all levels, I want to pve but noto/legacy won't allow me to do that. Yes I'll stand my ground and defend myself when attacked if the odds are in my favour, which they usually aren't, because they hunt like pack dogs.

It's an unfortunate fact of the game that if you want to enjoy the content, you have to fight for it. I'd much prefer for that not to be the case, but that's the cards that are on the table. I'm not playing at the moment and that is a key part of the reason, I just can't get to enjoy the game while constantly watching out for pk, it's boring, stressful and takes the enjoyment out of the game for me.

When I see people who call themselves pve but are quite happy to jump into bed with the very people who cause this situation you can understand my frustrations, you can't have it both ways. If you're hunting with them then you're actively supporting them, in my eyes you're not pve, that's how it is.

Imms don't pk pve guilds, but it's getting very difficult to convince them that's what you are. Just saying it doesn't mean anything, it's your actions that count. So think carefully who you support and hunt with, if you don't want to be involved, it takes more than saying you don't want to be involved, you have to actually not get involved

Well firstly take you own advice here mate you associate with pk guilds but want to be pve????? Anyway on to the next case I’m struggling to see why people find it hard to believe there pvr as far as I’m aware this guild will only hunt with there guild and allies so to me whoever is saying there allied is just looking for a excuse to pk and are doing the exact thing you lot claim no one does in your guild . Whoever pk then from noto/imms is just a excuse to feel superior on the server by pking noobs.
 
I went to PB during siege a couple of nights ago and helped magicman and he had a few chips drop during the siege. It has been mentioned on other threads before about getting them during siege (it may even say so on this thread I haven't checked).

But its not the only upgrade item that is hard to farm. I was fortunate to do my EM upgrade when you could still buy/trade chips and it still took an age to do and as with other and current upgrades you out level them before it's finished. I had managed to collect enough chips to do first upgrade by cycling through the quota's from Garrett and used them to do a guildie's 1st upgrade so they can concentrate on the 2nd.

if you're hunting in Planes, the best thing I can advise is to try and focus killing the Fiery mobs on F2. They seem to drop a lot more Chips for me.
 
The problem is, and I keep saying this, by the time you are able to reliably hunt in planes solo, you've outleveled the weapon and working on higher level one. So its moot.

yea I E-mailed Andy pointing this out and the response was "it gives players something to do when they've done everything" so tbh like you said I wouldn't even bother focusing on doing them..
