Could you please have a look at the pets on tao please, iv asked a few taos now and for some reason the pets are taking a long time to shift there ass, or stand there blankley just looking elsewhere doing nothing when attacking mobs or players.
They eventually move and start supporting but not like they did.

It's been like this for a while, if you cycle through modes (attack, aggressive, defensive, rest etc) it seems to fix it for a little while. Only really seems to be an issue if you sit there and let the pets do the work I've found recently.
 
I've noticed that its whenever there stats changed they tend to freeze for a second i.e when u change from poison to amulet or change rev/sc rings
 
Does it happen to all pets? Not just Shinsu?

I hadn't even noticed this, as I don't really play tao that much, but after reading this thread I paid a bit more attention and saw it happening clear as day

All my pets were in the middle of a lure of mobs on attack mode, I swapped poison from my bag into my amulet slot and all pets froze for about 2 seconds then continued as normal

Weird!

I'll play around with it a bit this evening and try to notice if it was in fact all pets or if it's just shinsu, I was sure it was all pets but after re-reading I'm now questioning my sanity :)

All pets, my issue I had was pets froze and then went inna different direction for cplnsrcs then came back to fighting.
Not usally a problem but when in middle of a lure and dv being used, pets provide a good shield.
For couple seconds it happend to yim to.

Basically I also had some issues with all pets of late , it was very noticable in the GG event cave .
The main issue as I see it is pet tracking in different terrain.

The map has multiple doors bends or alleys with mobs in each "lane" your clearing a lane and the pets are with you then when you round a bend or a corner or an obstruction they try and follow you get confused and just lag there or wonder off in the direction you came from , many times had to rest pets , move as far as I could away from pets and then attack all summon them to get them past the bend or door etc on the map.
Thier behaviour when following you is slow they dont keep up with you as should , also switching from amulet to posion seems to freeze them as well or when you use toxic when on assist then switch to amulet and use e.g. thousand swords they seem to not know which target to adhere to so just stop ... then have to think again which target to attack often this results in them taking unwanted damage or you having to re hit another group closer to them in order for them to re engage.

Maybe i havent explained well , its hard to put actions ingame into words ,
welcome Scorps to watch me in a cave on observer mode and I can re create it for you ,Orcs city is 1 area thats a pain with the delay ....

You can re-summon them to bring them to you as well, if you aren't far away enough for the rest/attack thing to work

When you resummon you still have a couple of srconds delay before attacking though.
Orcs, some pb maps only had a chance to test on so far
 
Diablo, sunken ship, yim the delays also in so assume proberly all the other daily timed event maps.
Suprisingly the arcamon pets are quicker to respond to action then the shinsu, skele can also be a bit of a delay but not as much as the shin.
Cant speak for all other taos but usally find arcamon pets and elementals are first into action before other 2 pets.
