I noticed from the new drop locations that this book is missing and so far I've not seen it anywhere, no shop, no drop and not even in the auction house, for a lvl 48 skill it seems to be OTT rare :highly_amused:


Anywhere its likely to drop?
 
Books typically drop from mobs and bosses around the same level as the book, it's probably just rare because nobody is hunting level 48 stuff. Find some level 50 caves and camp them for a few hours you'll probably get it
 
Yea that's been said before but this book doesn't seem to drop in those areas, I've been to a couple of different places trying to get it but it doesn't seem to happen.

It's a bit poor that you have to hunt low level low exp places for hours to find that one spell your missing because it just doesn't drop often enough.
 
book drops from super mutant hybrid in mutant mine 4th floor(top floor). boss normally- right side of map half way down(is a small bridge there) but is rare drop

Just checking, a level 48 spellbook is expected to drop from Mutant Mines, a level 90 area?

The lvl to learn the spell was drastically lowered as part of the last patch about 2 weeks ago. I assume the learn lvl got lower but he forgot to change the area it drops in.
I hunt mutant mines a lot so if I find one il keep aside for u

I am more curius of what reason you hunting mutant mines "alot" ?? A secret high lvl cave we others dont kbow about? :)
