Event suggestion

Firstly thanks for the hard work from the Gms for the mini event.

Just looking to ask the question on wether or not the event mobs could be added to GP caves please ?

Main reason being is that most of the top 10% have enough GG/gold to sit continuously on large packets..

Those of us who don't have enough gold are trying to find them, well they're pretty hard to come by. Today I've hunted them and it's worked out that I would have been better off in Naga GP. Not looking for an "easy mode" or a free pass. But just to be able to level along side a small chance to get the odd packet as a bonus.

Yeh I agree lower lvls and newcomers have struggled a lot today to find packets.
We thought that it would be good if all the rats spawned around mongchong would make it easier for people to find.

Agree! I spent around 8 hours online searching and found 3 red rats. :miserable: (only for one of them to be taken from me by a higher level! I am only level 119, so all I could do is sit and watch).

Same happens to me spent 3 hours of searching got 1 in iku,s lair but shame drop nothing for me

It’s an event catered for the rich and wealthy , bit of a money grab if u ask me red rats ain’t easy to find and to get a large packet is 30gg..........

30gg or 9m. I'm pretty much breaking even on them, might even be profiting, not really worked out it... spend 9m get a ton of items to sell to shop. Keep kill chain up and use drop pot and you're onto a goldmine

The main reason they were not added to those areas was because the idea was to break up the monotony of leveling in them but I appreciate from your point that you would still be better off elsewhere. We also had a lot of fightback last time the event monsters were behind a GP pay area.

Aye. Once you get going and you keep ur kill chain up you can make enough gold so that it costs much less to go back next time

Yeah I absolutely understand where your coming from, maybe if the fact you have to pay GP is a problem maybe in future the entry cost could be reduced for the event. But the good thing is if they was added to GP people could still hunt GP points much easier during this event so they wouldn't run out as much as they'd be making them in the event packets too.

Think it's just the fact that it's between 1-3 odd Reds per floor. With say an hour's respawn you can be searching for a long time without knowing if people have already cleared. As most people including myself (not shifting any blame here) are clearing all the caves not just the one for your level because you can't just stay somewhere leveling.

Maybe for Easter or in future would love to see free access for GP caves (maybe even a Tele in town) with say 2-300% spawn rates(as they would be 3/4 times busier). Would make carnage lvling / fun with the chance to find a ticket entry to the private rooms

I think having the rats in the Gp caves will be better for the lower levels . As I feel as though I’m forced to hunt in places with less mobs to try find these pesky rats .and I thought levelling was going to be faster in the event . Not an issue for the high lvls as they can keep paying 9 m constantly, Where as would prefer to hunt the tickets and save my gold bars. I’ll probably just go gp cave when the moons events on as can’t get enough Tickets to make it worth it . Being able to collect a few red packets whilst lvling would be nice the amount of rats don’t need increasing . Hope they are added in .

I'd like to know what DS and Zade are doing differently than me.

I had a couple gold finding pots dropped and with them I was nearly breaking even. Without the pot in probably losing 6mill a hunt.

That being said I don't think you should be able to loop the event and make a profit on gold drops. The exp is amazing, anything else is a bonus.

But I think the red rats need to be reassessed. I'm lucky to have enough gold to loop if I want to but the majority of players will not

From what I’ve seen it’s worth it for a 178+ to spend 30 gg on a large packet . For the Xp alone .. for a level 150-160 who’s trying to get gg to get better kit it’s not worth it... so the top end players gonna all end up 183 and the lower levels just running around like fools looking for the odd red rat

Considering the last 3 months has been stacked in favour of the majority or the server helping them catch up, isn’t it ok for a mini event to benefit to most loyal top players?

No if the GM wants to do an event for the richest players then that’s cool . Should just call it something diffident from Chinese New Year event . Also the FB polls had level 150-160 being at the top of the list . I actually think these events shouldn’t benefit one level bracket it should benefit all . This event has seems to have created a divide . Where the rich get more powerful and the lower level are left running about like chickens

You realize you can still have a fair amount of gg and still be mid lvl? Last few events were fair to everyone and gave plenty of room to catch up. I went from 148-170 almost exclusively on Halloween and Xmas event. Made entire kit during that time and still had plenty left over. If you put work into it you'll eventually come out ahead. Shit I had 8k gg and full kit after halloween.

Does this event have big flashing lights, loud music and screams stop what you're doing and focus on me? its obvious this is just a smaller version of the xmas event to entertain us for a week. Think peoples expectations are just far too high and people are just comparing the xmas event, obviously scorps not going to do another copy of it straight after one we've just had. Some see the word "event" and they get dollar signs in their eyes and think they should be hitting end game by the end of it. Worked it out roughly for the under 140 lvl bracket there's around 60 maps to go at and a rough guess probably only 3/4 of those have rats in? The "rich" players have money because they worked for it, let em spend it? "The rich get more powerful and lower level are left running about like chickens" how does the rich getting more powerful have any negative impact on the lower end? Let's use our loaf abit, the rich are more than likely spending their gold to get these event tickets meaning you won't bump into them in the hunting areas. Ye theres a few going out to the noob areas and taking the rats but out of the 60+ maps in the 140 bracket I like my odds. All I've been doing is lvling and hunting normally and I've had quite a few tickets/packets w.e on my way which are a nice added bonus. Best advice I can give is don't focus on what you don't have and compare against those who do, focus on what YOU DO have and work with the hand you've been dealt.

Lower lvls can do very well in this too. I got a 143 and it’s smashing event for it!!!

You don’t have to be rich to enjoy this even at high lvl, just need to work out how to make the most of it. Pretty sure with 100gg you could get yourself going and loop the cave if your smart about it.

The rich won’t get rich during this event, they will gain some exp and pull away from the pack imo and be caught by Easter

Seems to me that high level players are happy with it, and low level players are ridiculed for mentioning the challenge they are facing, seemingly not putting enough effort in.
The fact of the matter is: I have spent almost 17 hours running around looking for rats and had very little success. Rich players spending GG to enter caves are laughing.

It's almost as if high level/rich players are scared of lower levels catching up to compete with them. So they say all is fine, meanwhile they don't need to look for rats and just spend gold/GG instead.

Newer players are the future of games, unless you are happy playing with the same players every day, where eventually numbers will dwindle... which in return eventually leads to servers dying out. Scorpian said himself that he has recently seen a surge of new players, I know at least 4 of these new players that since Xmas have quit.

Personally found it difficult to find rats, but in all honesty, I could be fucked running to 8 diff maps for a potential ticket so just pay to get in.
