is it possible to add another version of the elements DD Fire Light etc as an upgraded version? so instead of having it dropped lets say u add a new 5% DD stone or 4% so the game isnt just about dc+10 PA MA SA only..
make it that there is a system/quest or something to do to upgrade your current stone from 2% - 5%? lets say u need different ingredients from bosses, a cost to make the actual rune, instead of using just the crafting bag...
as well as make it a limit, so when u make lets say a 5% rune, and its better than +10 DC by miles, cap it, so u got 5 slots on your weapon, but can only put ONE 5% DD stone on that weapon, and can fuck off if u wanna try stack it, and could maybe introduce other runes or special runes that can only be equipped on X item
possibly add a variety of trinkets you can upgrade for your character each giving different stats like lets say 5% exp is one 5% drop, elements, defences etc and can only equip ONE and can have a maximum of 2/3 in your bag so it aint busted... something like that just to keep people interested?
ffs idk, maybe instead of just orbs, maybe a new way of gaining extra stats on items through many bosses, ingridents, a quest e.g. pure orbs = +10 dc, another way of making it to +15 but ofc isnt easy and takes time.. as well as you could introduce element orbs? like 0.1% DD capped to 0.5% total so cant do 0.5% fire 0.5% dark etc.
a system where you could upgrade your skills but not all of them? e.g. u got flaming sword etc, but what about having a flaming sword (0/5) TDB (0/5) battlecharge (0/5) but couldnt max them all and when u upgrade x skill, lets say cooldown reduced by 1 second, 1% damage increase...
chance to burn? fuck knows
