Just a quick question, I'm a long time on and off player originally back from P69 release (seeing as I went to school with Scorp (I won't say his school nickname))

Level 136 wiz as only recently returned again.

I've got a khazard pet but wondering is it worth the 1000gg to make it into dragon? I don't really buy gg so would be more a 450mil grind then sell gold bars.

Is it really worth the grind??

It is a very useful upgrade and if you're doing a lot of bosses then it's worth it, but if you're not buying gg then there's other thing I'd prioritise. Get yourself kitted out first, look for jaguar/drake necklaces for sale by other players, they'll be a lot cheaper than buying fresh from shop. Same with other premium items (rev ring etc)
 
Thanks Zade, as an example I did king leoric the other day solo, brought in my pet to para but had to rev 5 times in the single kill.

Would there be that much of a difference (its int pet food all the way for khazard) but I just can't seeing it being worth it?

Wizard class right? You won't need a dragon khazard, I advise you to keep up the grind and get higher level then try join one of the big guilds.

Wizards have the ability to tame OP pets on this server, I don't see why they'd need a dragon khazard.
BDP pets are strong enough and you will solo almost any boss with them, high lvl wizzies correct me if im wrong but dont BDP pets para too?

No para, and surprisingly, they do take large amounts of damage from some bosses if you dont have some form of freeze or para in place.

Especially against bosses like balor and even four tails/skyknight.

Para/freeze is definitely needed. Dragon khazard if fed correctly has very good paralysis. Feeding it INT makes the para last longer, which is what most people do, but my personal preference is feeding it DEX which increases its accuracy, so the para doesn't last as long but is more likely to land a para first time. The best wiz pets if you want to para things is super/champ moths from last floor of RDD. They have very high accuracy (more than my DK) so 5 of those can pretty much keep anything permanently parad. Shame they don't do anywhere near the damage of other pets, so it's a bit of a trade off depending on your play style

Whats the need behind mentioning that you know Andy from school? Like how is that relevant to anything please elaborate.
