Could anyone, particularly Taoist mains, provide some guidance?

I am finding this quest extremely difficult to complete. Our class only has Boreal Tiger and Grants for single-target damage, which are not sufficient. If I attempt to use Plague, it becomes uncontrollable and does not help with the objective. Unfortunately, I have received this quest three consecutive times, and I have been unable to finish it. Any advice or strategies from experienced Taoist players would be greatly appreciated.

Only use shin, skelly and a melee arcamon with pets on assist.

Use terror ability on the guys pets so that they run away & use repulse + trap hexagon to separate them.

Use single target abilities to kill mobs and also to lure the mobs what may accidentally get stuck in your trap hexagon.

Use poisoning and boreal tiger primarily, only using plague when you have control of the area and none of the guys pets are in range.

It takes time and patience, but you have an hour to complete the task. Use it wisely. These tasks are unfortunately not the usual smash & grab scenario that us taos have become accustomed to.

Burn them all enjoy the exp unless it's a mythic vessel 😂
Have to admit, that's what I usually do. Just fail the quest and enjoy the exp!

I did it once on each class just to prove to myself that I could, but really it's a bit of hassle for what's usually a pretty mid reward. I'm just thankful for some nice easy exp
