Very disappointed with this years event, Santa's and Tree's are bare minimum and are harldy dropping large presents.

Rune goblin in the 160-180 cave drops absolute rubbish, and it's not any better in the private caves.

Why can't you combine presents to make bigger ones?, some people haven't got gg to waste on large presents.
Where are the Mounts?

Where do you find the Tiger and Troll to get Arc pet?

Seems like another money grabbing event again.
 
I'm enjoying the event very much so, great effort from the staff.
I agree tho large presents and mounts are barely dropping.
 
I can only agree on the lack of Santas and trees... from average 2hrs of playing i have only come across one santa and even that got nicked from me by a wiz lol..

other than that i dont think its that bad..

Last year i found a troll in snowbrook province and i think i got a tiger there too.. but they only spawn like every 10hrs or so.. so yes it is hard getting them and if it makes you feel any better it took me 2-4 years to get them..

The part about GM capitalising during events.. is a bit of a gray area.. tbf to him u do get GG item rewards back from the caves.. like Pet name tags, subscriptions, temp tele rings, GG pot and bundles, pet foods and also GG items like recall items.. which is quite fair.. I used a couple hundred GG in those caves in the past kinda worth it but just not enough mobs.. i could clear them in 10-15 mins... they were only really worth it if u did them during moon events and also if u had a extermination mytic weapons.

100% agree. I think the events a combination of boring and frustrating. The bad parts outweigh any positivity i get from it.

I appreciate that he has tweaked things but at the same time he seems to have ignore the main complaints.

This wont change the santa / tree spawns, which really is the biggest part of the issue.

It also does nothing to stop the borderline purge that is happening in Snowbrook. I am on the verge of giving up for the remainder of the event as its just frustrating running around NOT finding what I need and constantly being attacked. I dont want to fight anyone, its christmas, its meant to be fun!
 
As an under 140 I am enjoying the event. Nobody pk's me although one person has verbally shown his frustration when I reached a tree before him. Really, I'll give you my finds if it means that much to you.

However it looks like the high levels are struggling with sharing space and bosses/santas/trees and as expected a few players become trogs about it and ruin it for others. I think that influences a persons view of the event itself.

Two nights ago I did my first small present cave and with a little struggle I managed to kill the champion and his horde but not too bad. Last night I don't know if there was a moon effect or something that hurts warriors, but I had to revive twice in there. Hoping it was just the moon phase!

There was a lunar event that ended at 11pm on Thursday that buffed mobs AC, so they would have taken a bit longer for warriors to kill.

Regards sharing space, that's ALWAYS an issue for the top section of players, when you reach high level the goal switches from levelling to obtaining drops, so there will always be heated competition when you enter that space. It just comes as a shock to the system for lower level players who aren't used to that kind of thing, suddenly finding themselves waving a stick in the middle of a gun fight. The kind of pk that's happening in snowbrook is a daily thing in the top caves, you just normally aren't exposed to it because you normally hunt in lower level places where it doesn't really happen.

What a stupid statement. PKing is not a nice thing to do and most people do not play the game to fight other people, in reality, anyone who plays solely to do that to people are playing the game with the purpose of selfishly making it miserable for other people. I mean, people being scammed, stabbed and rape are all part of the real world. are you saying people should shut up and accept the bad sides of society just because they exist? Come on. That's simply not a good justification for going out of your way to make other players game experience bad.

Save the PvP for war. There is no need for it during A CHRISTMAS EVENT!

Previous posters comment clearly does not compare in game event with real life event. No where does it state being pk'd is comparable to rape. The poster states bad things happen in game, they should not be tolerated (particularly at this time of year) as bad things are not tolerated in real life.

Why would you seek to avoid an engaging discussion regarding events within a game, that every single one of us has an opportunity to determine, by use of woke politics, designed to stifle debate and ridicule the original poster?

You are right in that you state PK is part of the game. From that I assume you mean 'part of your game'. All the OP asks is that it is not part of his / her game.
 
GM has made good progress on addressing the issue by increasing the amount of pk points you get I'd you pk someone significantly lower level than yourself. It's an excellent and well received gesture, but ultimately doesn't make much difference as pk points are easy and quick to recover from and don't really have any effect. If pk points negatively affected your play in some way it would help reduce this kind of thing.

imo they should beef the guards up. Atm, they are about as useless as a chocolate watch in a desert. If people want to act like outlaws in the game then the in-game law enforcement should be able to deal with them.

That seems like a good idea on the surface unfortunately it leads to some other undesirable consequences which is why most servers have pretty much done away with the idea

I don't think they are trolling, I think they genuinely think they have a point but are so lost to a world of nonsense rhetoric and acting like children who are entitled to do what they want that when they are challenged by someone who wants to make a point they run around making silly points and shouting at clouds. Ironically, I am probably trolling them harder. Shit, they are so obsessed with certain people here that they should be charging rent for the headspace lmaooooo.

(seriously though, to those who know this is directed at them, get help as it's not healthy!).

When this forum closes so does everything on it. The way I see it this place is not 'real', it is merely an extension of a fantasy word and very little on it is worth thinking about when the tab closes.

As I said last year, invasion is an event killer mood. Especially in the noob map.
What I don't understand is why PK is encouraged? Where Santa is, it should be safezone or at least santas and trees should die in one hit.
Then there is the part with the drop less and less. If you were not active in the first part of the event, for example today in the small private cave in 2 hours I did not take any uni item. And the stones are a disappointment. Only emerald, tanzanite, topaz.
And there is also the difference in experience in small, medium and large))))))))))) per mob.
That's negative feedbk. Positive feedbk, the rest))) - still figure it out
